What the hell, that sequence around 1:30 was nuts. Raymond makes a crazy play while falling, Walman makes a nice move then makes another nice pass while falling...imagine if Larkin scored there.

I missed awood posts and i have greatly missed the boys in the ice, ik its pre season but gotta love a wings dub. Can't wait for the real season to start tho.

Cuz like a lot of Detroit fans, if they're not flashy or in media attention then they know nothing about them.. and don't DARE ask them to do their homework on a player before they give their full synopsis on the player.. 😅 Most fans can't project and have the visionary of what Stevie-Y and his scouting staff has.. HELL, same can be said for Brad Holmes and the Lions as well.. why do i always hear fans apologizing like months to a year later (depending on the sport and player) about how they were WRONG on a player and they're better than what they thought, blah, blah, blah...😅 Fans need to learn how to trust their GM if they feel they have a competent one.. or else you will find yourself ALWAYS apologizing like a dunce🤡 due to one's self arrogance 😅

I liked the player but didn’t like the pick at the time. I just felt there were better forwards with more upside available at 9 (particularly Oliver Moore and Zach Benson). The consolation I felt at the draft is that Danielson is a right shot center, which is something we lack in both the current roster and the prospect pipeline. I do think if he has the potential to be a first line center for us if he continues to develop well. His defensive game is already very sound for a 19 year old kid, so if he can round out his offense and finishing ability, he’s gonna make Yzerman look like a genius.

6'1, Right Handed Center, Who plays both ends of the Ice, Like Wiz said. He isn't a flashy goal scorer so "Fans" get mad. He is just 1 of many pieces. I don't want 1 guy scoring 60 goals and we are still picking 1-3 in the lottery. I want them to build a team to last. And lets be honest. No one on here has the qualifications to make these decisions. And a couch GM won't change my mind! LGRW!

@@thewizardofoz511 I don't think that's it at all. Everyone who I've heard question the pick is not because they didn't do research. It's because when Yzerman called his name at the draft he was emotionless. It seemed like he was disappointed to be picked by the Wings. He didn't smile at all except for the draft photo, and that looked kind of forced. He looked like a psychopath. Go check the draft again if you don't believe me. I noticed it too, but I did do the research and that just seems to be his personality. I think he's just kind of dry. Look at him after he scored the goal here. Same thing. He didn't get ecstatic and go nuts in celebration like a lot of players do. He stood there waiting for his teammates to get there, fist bumped and skated to the bench. I think that's just his personality. Maybe that's just how he handles his professional life and he's an absolute goof when hanging out with the boys. Either way he is definitely talented. I heard Ken Daniels say last night that Bedard said Danielson is one of the toughest players he ever played against. Personally, I love the pick.

Nate Danielson stood out during the prospects tourney and he hasn’t slowed down. Nasty shot from Larks, fed by the Cat, those two are gonna hook up for 70 goals this year

The one thing that you could consider a weak spot in Seider's game was a great point shot. Well he definitely looks like he's been working on it!! Hell of a blast Mo!!!!

Ghost is going to fit in really well in Detroit. So happy that Yzerman got him

Surprisingly good hockey for this point in the season. It's going to be an awesome year!

Nate Danielson looks pretty damn good. I think he has the potential to be a Dylan Larkin type of player. I think he’ll be a good two way player. Rasmussen just keeps improving. He’s in the middle of everything lol. And of course Seider is just a beast.

I saw what looked to be a lot of knee-on-knee hits from the Pens early on. I hope someone sends video of that to the league and has it addressed. Not only is it dangerous, it's bush league.

I hear ya. Nothing like listening to those two call a Wings game. I'd highly recommend checking out bally sports + that way you're guaranteed to get a Ken and mick broadcast. Espn has it I think aswell like the guy above me mentioned but bally sports + might be cheaper

If the Pens don’t have Zahorna in our lineup this year, I’ll be seriously bummed. We can use a big bodied guy like that who can skate his ass off and produce on offense. Hoping management gives him a shot this year 🤞

Actually it´s MO who selling out Walman and the keeper. There is no reason for MO to "chase the puck" behind the goal. Stay at the west side/post and there is no pass here. Walman holds the line in the middle as he is further away from the puck. MO makes several mistakes in the game as he does not keep the lines as he should.
