    So this may sound very noob of me. But im just getting into the rc drag car stuff. Is there a difference in tires for no prep vs prep? Or is it just belted vs none belted tires?

    I have the reaction time and have not known just how to use it. Now i do. Thank you. Is beetle juice good to store them?

  • @gravityracergt

    I’ve heard beetle Juice is a good conditioner. I haven’t tried it. But after your last pass before packing up. Lean tires good with Naptha (Only) and then let them dry.. heat for like 3 minutes and then put the conditioner on the tires and wrap them right after.

    No prep is dry tire not sticky. But it's ok to clean and condition tire

  • @gravityracergt

    @gravityracergt

    No Prep means the track surface. Tire prep is allowed in the NPRC rules and at the local events and Big events. A few groups still only allow dry tire and that’s fine. But you’ll be very disappointed if you go to a national event and try to compete with a dry tire.
