A little science on CA glue. The glue hardens by forming bonds. This can be accelerated by many different things. Essentially all you are doing with the accelerator is speeding up the process. The benefit is you don’t have to hold the part while it cures. Do yourself a favor and get some fine point tweezers. 😊 There are other chemicals which break the bonds and this is how you have CA remover.

The way I set the emblems. I shot one spray of insra cure on the back side of emblem and the maxi glue on the vehicle. After I apply the emblem I shot it with one spray of insta cure. Seems to work for me. The insta cure spray on the back side of emblem gives it a super bond. Just the way I do it. Take care. Oh by the way love your videos been a long time subscriber. Gotten many ideas from you for my builds. Take care. Keep up the great work.

On your comments on the 'plastic' crawlers, I bought an SCX 10.2 Honcho a while back for the very reason that I don't have to upgrade it. I wanted a truck that I could pull out of the box and be perfectly happy with. I've done a few tiny mods on it but nothing that needed new parts. This is a complete contrast from my TF2 LWB which I've touched practically every aspect of it atleast a little, except the driveline, the r3 single speed works perfectly for my 'speed'

  • @RCeveryday

@@RCeveryday I think a big thing with modding the TF2 is that even small mods can have drastic changes on how it behaves, plus there are so many styles of build it can be modded to work with! I've seen ultra high preformance linked TF2s and I've seen full dollhouse scale builds that look like a 1:1!...Mine leans toward the latter buut I don't think a Stormtrooper is the most realistic driver of an 82 Toyota crew cab...buut he looks good in there!

Once you get a good brushless system you won't look at a brushed system the same again. With a brushless system you can get all the low speed control you could ever want plus plenty of wheel speed. You also don't have to worry about mud/water/sand getting into the motor. If I was building a rig that was hard to work on or had the motor covered up I'd have a brushless system so I would never have to touch it again.
