I 100% agree. First he is a BA at what he does and second he is a lot more entertaining than these Chanel’s that get a million views a video.. I guess it’s cause he doesn’t spend all his money on a fleet of lambos and Ferrari’s..

I'm sure they are but if your electrical accessories aren't wired to a relay which acts as an "accessory kill" during cranking you could be robbing the starter of amperage needed to start. I've seen this so often in customized cars. Lots of accessories wired to key on but NOT part of the accessory kill circuit. You can get an Ampmeter and measure the current seen at the starter during cranking and compare that to the battery rating +/- 15% maybe? Could try a different weight of oil Are all of the accessory pulley bearings free and smooth? Maybe a slightly looser serpentine belt? Just trying to think of things to loosen the rotating mass up during cranking.

Dev- wrap the bottom of the bumper with a couple layers of black or clear vinyl to protect it. Did that with my old lowered car and it worked like a charm to protect it.

sounds like starter is dragging a little Devin so may want to take it in for a rebuild on the starter but look at connector and make sure its clean where its getting full contact before sending starter in for a rebuild.

just had another thought to check the battery cable size to small a cable will limit how much amps and volts is getting to starter and the import cables tend to have impurities in them limiting them even more cable company i use recommends 3/0 Ga. Battery Cable for those of us running the battery in the trunk up to 18 feet long to give us 200 amps at the battery cable end.

How do you prevent rust if you drive your car in the winter with all the salt and stuff? I'm putting a new motor in and a bunch of bolt on and turbo head work blah blah but point is I have to do the break in period so about 1500 miles in the winter and I didn't want to drive it in winter at all but I want it ready for the car season

Devin stop buying shitty car battery's, you need to invest in XS Power battery it's the best car battery on the market. Almost all the Car Audio peeps aka bass heads use them. That's what I use, yes imma bass head, love my ZV5 12" 2ohm with a SCV-3000D mono block tuned to 1ohm, Sundown Audio the best car audio on the planet, Evo's are the best JDM cars on the planet and Cumming's are the best diesel engines on the planet, that's my opinion.
