autumn starts for me in a few weeks and it's actually my birthday month as well. honestly autumn/fall makes me so happy. it's actually a weird feeling, I'm extremely depressed and have been for 3 years an still am and unfortunately all the depression and bullshit has only gotten worse. but honestly, the second fall starts, till winter. I feel somewhat comfortable and happy. it brings me a joy I can't describe. it's a comforting feeling that blends in with my depressed and f*cked up feelings. really hard to describe. some might say I'm "romamtizing" depression. trust me I'm not, depression isn't a choice nor is it fun. but those going through it have some small ways to cope with it. me personally it's the months of autumn/fall and winter. the smell of books and reading all the time, rain, comfort food (though I've got an ed, it still comforts me sometime during fall) harry potter, gilmore girls, trying my best to get to my hobbies that I've lost because of my depression and life in general. it's hard yes, but fall just gives me more motivation. I always look forward to this time of the year all year. watching my favourite youtubers (she's one of em

I am defo in my autumn. Yesterday I went to a second hand book shop and bought Jane Eyre, I put up pumpkin fairy lights, I’m reading the secret history and rewatching dead poets society and Gilmore girls. At school I sit just outside the back building where no one can see me and I read during lunch. It’s got pillars and it’s usually raining since I live in England and it’s my fav place in my whole school. I also bake cookies every Sunday so I can take them to school the next day. I’m so happy Autumn’s finally here, we’ve waited long enough. ❤❤

The Tenant of Wildfell Hall is my favourite book ever !!!! when you said the title, I grasped my heart I swear 🤣 ! isn't it absolutely amazing how that book was written in the first half of 19th century ? I also love that the main characters are much less violently insane than in Emily and Charlotte's books, but still atypical and "quirky" Also I wasn't expecting you to say the oven is giving Sylvia Plath but I cannot disagree

For everyone wanting to make pumpkin chocolate chip muffins this is the recipe I follow. Hands down the best muffins ever and one of my favorite parts of fall is making them. They are literally so good trust me! This recipe makes about 20-24 muffins. Use cupcake liners and fill them 2/3 full of mix and bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes. What you’ll need: 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour 2 cups sugar 4 eggs 1 1/4 cups of vegetable oil 1 t. salt 1 t. baking soda 1/2 t. baking powder 2 t. vanilla flavoring 1 can pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie mix) 1 t. cinnamon 2 cups chocolate chips What to do: Mix the sugar, eggs, and oil together in a mixer until light and smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients, except the chocolate chips and mix well. Add the chocolate chips and bake in muffin tins for 8-10 minutes at 400. You can halve this recipe to make only 12-15 muffins if you want. Also just a note, sometimes my muffins take longer than 10 minutes (I've done 12-14 minutes before) so I would check them with a toothpick to see if it comes of clean, and if not do it for a couple more minutes until they fully bake. Enjoy!

It’s gotten super hot in the UK yet again, just as it was cooling down and becoming autumnal 🙁 No real Autumn plans yet. Just some vague ideas to bake and enjoy the seasonal drinks from coffee shops.

I always bake pecan pie and pumpkin pie. In Mexico we celebrate the Day of the dead and we have a special bread called pan de muerto (bread of the dead) I can’t bake it but it’s my comfort dessert this season along with pie.

Everyone with actual autumn weather is soooo0 lucky :(❤ BC in europe we are going thru a disgusting heatwave AGAIN and autumn is delayed....
