@grey grey - You sir, are obviously not a high end, detailed model builder or you wouldn't have made that comment! I am currently waiting for a 1:8 metal assembly kit that costs TWICE what this Lotus costs, and I am very anxiously looking forward to building it! Either you are a modeler and like the challenge of the build, or you are not and should just buy those models that are pre-built. 😁

It's going to need a transkit to make it any better than a 1/12 Tamiya. Once again phillips screws are inexcusable.

Sorry Phil, your first untruth - "There is no gluing". From the detailed build videos I have seen, there is a fair amount of gluing, not a problem, but not the truth either! I am a Senior who has built 5 Pocher kits, most from the original company. While their instructions have always been vague in some areas, the instructions for this kit are just plain terrible. They are fare more than just vague, they are completely misleading and outright incorrect in many cases! The fact that they have required four (4) sets of revisions while the model was being released is inexcusable for any model, but particularly one in this price range. Your competitors in this scale don't require any tapping of screw holes like Pocher does. This is an annoying, needless step that you should engineer to eliminate. The screws aren't magnetic friendly? Another big, annoying problem that is completely unnecessary. Some screws too long, another sign of poor engineering. I actually had one on order and cancelled it at the last moment when I first heard of the numerous errors and confusion trying to decipher your so called instructions. I ordered the Agora 1:8 Mercedes Benz W196 R GP car. I have already completed their 1:8 427 Cobra SC kit and it had NONE of the issues and problems your Lotus 72 does. You would do well to study their significantly clearer instructions! Hornby had better do some more R&D on their kits and instructions or you will likely fade into the past, while your competitors surge ahead!
