    Dear Merise, I am pleased with Level Up RN and the incredible knowledge I've gained from your videos. As someone with a busy work schedule and a significant amount of commuting time (about 1 to 1.5 hours each day), listening to your videos and those by Catty is the perfect solution for maximizing my learning opportunities. I have a small request that would greatly benefit me and many other nurses in similar situations. You and Catty often ask questions at the end of your videos, which I appreciate as it adds an interactive element to the learning experience. However, due to the constraints of driving and my inability to look at my phone, I sometimes need to find the correct answers to these questions. Please read out the accurate answers after each question in the videos. This would ensure that I get all vital information and enable me to engage with the content fully. I want to convey my sincere gratitude for Level Up RN's impact on my nursing journey. Thanks to your videos, I have achieved around 90% on all my exams. Your dedication to teaching and your lessons' exceptional quality are commendable. Thank you again for your outstanding work. I appreciate your consideration of my request and am excited to continue learning from Level Up RN. Gratefully, MOJGAN

    You have covered every minute detail about pregnancy. It was very sweet when you mentioned about the number of times a baby starts kicking. Is it not a joyful aspect of parenthood to feel the baby, before it is born?

    I don't understand how fundal height can possibly still have efficacy in any way. It assumes everyone has a perfectly flat stomach before pregnancy.... ridiculous.

  • @LevelUpRN

    @LevelUpRN

    Жыл бұрын

    Totally understand your point here! However, whether someone has a flat stomach or not, the size and the location of their uterus should not be affected. We aren't measuring the size of a person's stomach, but rather truly pushing on that abdomen to feel where the fundus is anatomically. Assessment of fundal height is just _one single tool_ used in prenatal care to _estimate_ the size of the fetus, though, and there are lots of other things that are done during the care of a patient's pregnancy to ensure the fetus is growing appropriately! --Meris :)

    @@LevelUpRN I appreciate your response, but it consistently (as in my entire life) seems like medical professionals have absolutely zero experience dealing with bodies like mine, who are not thin. Whenever they measure my fundal height they act like they don't understand my stomach or where it begins or ends. They each start measuring from different places and tell me I am measuring 7-10 weeks ahead, even when ultrasounds suggested my baby was small. It does not give me confidence in any of their abilities to help me through birth. I am glad I have a HAES educated doula.
