We've had our OEV CAMP-X for two summers now and couldn't be happier. Replaced our previous slide-in camper to eliminate the condensation issues and for the higher quality battery management system, heater, water heater, etc. and we prefer the aluminum and Starboard galley/cabinets; no laminated wood to worry about scuffing/scraping. Truly insulated pop-up walls are worlds better than previous camper's canvas and cloth top and the insulated panel structure we like better than aluminum tube walls/roof.

How’s it going with the camp x.I’m considering buying one.It seems to have the highest quality popup truck camper on the market.I contemplated a hardside being in the northwest.I think It would be more fuel effective for the popup.I’m worried about comedy though.

@@Suavveb Still loving it. The only thing we'd consider, to replace our OEV CAMP-X, is a OEV CAMP-HBE. Ha. We have taken our rig on quite a few nasty trails (wheel in the air, entire truck and camper hopping up and down looking for traction) and everything has held up great. Our CAMP-X is a 2020 and they have refined it even more since then. I look at a lot of new camper brands as they come out and have not seen anything we like better. There are a couple hardwall rigs we like, but they just wouldn't work on the tight, tree-lined trails we frequent. A pop-top works great and these have enough insulation that they work great well below freezing temps.

Those boxes are awesome flatbed have some great additional benefits. The rear slide out box slider perfect for a grill like you said. Question: Do you make flat beds for 17ft long chassis? Our rig is based off a 2011 Ford E450 van chassis from uHaul was a 20ft box truck with box removed. This will be our filming HQ for a documentary film . So we are building a custom box for it. Thanks again for sharing.

nice detailed videos. FYI: RV and camper van manufacturers uses Volta Systems for their battery power/battery mgmt(not sure if it is 48v or 56v) product(based in Michigan). charged by a 2nd alternator in the truck engine area. Looking forward to seeing an updated video of your products in 2022 from the upcoming Overland shows. BOV is my build vendor of choice for when I am finally able to build a Truck camper setup with this Overlander Explorer popup camper
