Gaerne SG 12, they are the best made, most protection, longest lasting ! I have had Tech 7's and 10's. The Gaerne is the best ! The new SG 22 is not as good protection as the 12's . The 22 cost a fortune but looks like the materials are much cheaper !! They look like they are not made in the Italian factory anymore !🤔

Ive owned Gaerne Sidi and A Stars and Gaerne are my favorite. I cuurently have my 2nd pair of Crossfires but they will probably be my last. they are a hassle to get on and my soles hurt after a long day. Ill go with the SG12 next

Excellent boot information. I agree on the SG22 boot. You covered all the good features of all the boots, ankle support, toe box, and comfort. I waited to hear if these boots are waterproof? Great to see you getting back on your feet so to speak. Thanks for the video!

Thanks Ken, i dont think any of these boots are waterproof, protection is the main feature in these premium boots.

I went from my "toe breaker" Tech 3's to the G22's. Unreal, im pretty sure ive saved a few broken toes for sure

Man I feel ya. I tore my LCL somehow..and it's been a #$%& year but avoided surgery. I got Gearne Fastback Enduros. I'm not doing crazy off road, but will be moto camping alone down to the end of Cabo and back. Really loving the Gaerne's. S22s are LEGIT

the SG22 and the sidi crossfire 3 srs are the best boots in the market, Alpinestars is just a Chinese product with a lot off promotion and collaboration to get in the top of the market!!!

I appreciate this video. I recently had a sub 10mph crash on my bike while wearing my Tech 7 Enduros. The bike landed on my heel and pushed my toes into the ground causing a partial or full tear of my Lisfranc ligament. Hopefully it's just a partial or I'll need surgery. I'm not sure if better boots would've made the difference, I think a stiffer boot would've helped. I'm definitely gonna be getting SG22s as soon as I can. They're expensive but still cheaper than one trip to the doctor and I'd rather pay nearly $700 than be off the bike for a year and unable to walk.

That sucks, sorry to hear that. Hope you get it sorted soon. better boots with more protection are stiffer, I love my sg-22s.

Helpful information, unfortunately I'm watching with a cast on a broken right foot. I guess it's time to trade coolness, peg feel and dexterity for protection. Months on crutches is not "super rad"!

sucks being broken, i get it! check out the Gaernes they're really good for all of that! unfortunately, for some of us it takes a break for us to invest in premium boots and we are not the only ones.

Sorry about foot. I would also consider the Leatt 4.5 Enduro and Leatt 5.5.

i wanted to try the 5.5s but ill pass on the 4.5 as they seem the same as the tech 7.

sidi adv 2 and gaerne sg22 are my own purchases. Depends on how i wanted to thrash my 890 I wear my boots to suit.

Nice, that's not a bad idea!

Comfy boot and love the inner booty, but My 10s have fell to within 2 years doing only moto and they are expensive! The seam below the bottom bucket has ripped fully open I get a breeze on my foot. Lost 3 straps and both soles have fully worn through on stock pegs, I replaced my black soles but it worn through the white underneath. Definitely over priced

What size do you wear in the sg22 as apposed to the Alpinestars? I'm trying to switch from Alpinestars to Gearne.

The tech 10s at 9 us 43 eu size were way too small. Had to get the 10 us 44.5 eu size The gaerne sg22 9us 43eu size fit me perfect. My shoes normally are 9.5 us 43 eu size. I figured a 43 eu sized boot would fit. Gaerne is true to size

Ok thank you! I wear US 9.5 in most shoes and i wear a 10 in Alpinestars boots. So this helps me. 🙌🏼

I wore size 10 in Alpinestar, 9 in Gaerne SG 12 , they fit perfect !

Sidi isn't made in Italy anymore and the quality has gone way down. They are literally falling apart after a few hours , watch Cross Training videos. I have Tech 10s and 7s but if I were to buy boots today I would definitely buy the SG 22 !

The SG 22 doesn't look near as well made as the SG 12, yet it cost a fortune ! I think they are not made in the Italian factory anymore either ! Get SG 12 ' s , you won't be disappointed !

MX Locker has sg22 in all colors but not the goretex version.
