I think it looks good on inside. I think the exterior really looks cool. I like the extras this comes with in this class. No carpet, black out shades, shade in the door, heated underbelly, heated tanks, attached latter, centralized air, power stableizers, etc. I would not miss the oven. Love the axle and suspension set up and wrangle tires too. Nice one. Thanks Nerd!

A few things killed us replacing our totaled 2106FBS (only came with sofa) which we really liked with the 2108FBS. The first is they eliminated the over bed cabinets. Those overhead cabinets were the only place to store any quantity of folded clothing. Another dislike is the pocket door in the bathroom which makes a small sink area even tighter and allows water to splash down the side of the vanity. The last was the change of the pantry door from the front to the side that came about with the new cabinet style. We also weren't happy with the loss of a range vent hood and oven but they weren't deal breakers since kits exist to add those after the fact (but no factory warranty :( ). We liked the repositioning of the counter extension and think the more modern cabinets look better than the more traditional style our 2106FBS had. We feel they did a good job on the rework of the bathroom wardrobe by moving the lower cabinet up so it doesn't get blocked by the toilet anymore. We also liked the 2nd wardrobe on the entry side of the bed. These also have one of the best showers we've seen in small trailers. Personally we think the sofa is the better option. It not only hides the wheel wells better but sitting lower it makes the trailer feel larger and gives a better view to the TV. If Winnebago were to restore the cabinets over the bed and return to a swinging bathroom door we would probably order a a sofa optioned 2108FBS and live with the end pantry door.

A foot longer wouldn't add to much more weight but it would help to get a full green bed plus a little more counter space or a little bigger bathroom.

These micros are sharp. Taken individually they're easy to judge or underestimate. When you start looking at them vs. other things I think their real value comes out Not a lot of tandem axle narrow body stuff out there. That quality alone makes them pretty special I think I don't think that really translates well to camera most of the time though

So, we rented this exact camper a few months ago. My hubs drives a Nissan midsize frontier and he said towing this camper was so light it felt like towing a trailer! I think this one is perfect to rent for a first timer like us because we could nitpick at what we like and don’t. That bathroom is too tight… the sink area is so hard to get into and the toilet needs to be taller. The shower was fine. The kitchen area is nothing fancy which is what I like. We did spend most of one day inside because of bad weather so we watched tv and my neck did hurt from sitting on the same side as the tv at the table lol. Overall it ain’t bad but I wouldn’t buy it because of the few reasons I didn’t like about it. I still undecided if we’d rather have a sofa with “tv table” or a dinette?!

I really like these little ones. Ember is still my top since it can go way off grid, but I am still interested in more like this. The one thing I still don't think I found yet is one with a theater seat directly facing the tv under 26ft. I like to game on the rainy days and tv positions like this just won't work for that.

I've seen a couple of these in person and they appear to be fairly well put together but pricey. I like the big cross-breeze windows on each side of the bed...I wish the Rockwood Mini Lite/Flagstaff Micro Lite series would incorporate these types of bigger windows instead of the 'portholes' that they use. My biggest issue with Winnebago's travel trailers, especially the Micro Mini line, is that is appears that you're paying a premium for the name. Their MSRP's are really aggressive (not necessarily what Bish's is selling them for...but other dealers are), even in the non-FLX units, considering what you're getting. There are A LOT of comparable units from other MFGs that are not nearly as expensive, and the Winnebago MSRP is getting into the range of Embers, which are generally larger and clearly a superior build quality.

Love the 400 lb dry hitch weight. Perfect for a mid-size pickup that often have less-than-ideal payload, despite boasting big maximum trailer weight ratings. Also, the 7' width pairs up great for the narrower mid-size trucks. Hitch this thing to your Colorado and go visit Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado or maybe chat up a National Park ranger in your Ranger.

I have the murphy bed / sofa version from 2018. There are some nice upgrades on this compared to mine. There is noticeably more storage in the kitchen area, at the price of the oven. The other part is the under bed and under seat storage that mine version can't have. There have been only a few issues I've had, compared to other RV owners I know have experienced. Most of the issues are tied to the Dometic / Furion common parts that everyone uses. The only issue that was actually a Winnebago build issue was that the slide started to detach after a few months of use, but it was fixed under warranty. I'd still buy another, but maybe not the same floorplan as I have now... It does tow nice, I used to pull it with a Grand Cherokee until I got an F-150.

With that said, I've had issues with the water pump, the microwave, the furnace, the DVD player, multiple issues with the water heater, etc. So yeah, feet to the fire is something I can get behind. Its staggering that they can produce the quality they do without recourse. We'd be filleted in the auto industry if we performed like that...

One of the 1st trailers I put on my list to consider was the Minnie Winnie. I am so happy to hear they are now making a twin bed floor plan. That just moved it to the short list. The original plan was traveling with my husband, but he is terminally ill so it will be traveling with a friend. It's fantastic to see more and more offering a twin option. I'm interested to see it with a couch and table. It seems like a table would take up a lot of walkway space. I will check this one out this weekend at the Cleveland RV show 😃

Sorry to hear about your husband. We owned the predecessor to this model the 2106FBS. It had the sofa and a table. The table did take up room but it wasn't the width so much as the length that we did not care for. If one person wanted to work the table blocked the other seat. We ended up not using the table inside and instead used a couple of oversized TV tray tables. This allowed one person to work while the other had unimpeded access to the sofa. The two tray tables fit in the same space behind the sofa that was designed to store the table. They were also lighter weight. We left the original table at home except when we knew we would need it for outdoor use under the awning.

Hey Josh. The wife & I were at a local RV show and we were checking out the Winnebago. I think that it was the 2108. I was feeling the fender wells to see if it was metal or plastic, and was surprised that there was fabric. What do you know of this? Seems kinda cheap to me, and immediately put me off of Winnebago's. Hope that you can answer my question. Thanks,

Hey Josh, question for you, for this trailer as well as the model with the murphy bed option (2108DS) can the shelf above the bed that connects the two wardrobes be cut out to accommodate a less bendy mattress. We don't need that storage and were hoping if it wasn't structural to take the center piece of the shelf out to make a little more room height wise. Thank you!

I suspect you could add one after the fact. I don't think the wall framing was changed but I found Winnebago was very accommodating when I asked for wall and ceiling diagrams for our 2106FBS. The cabinet should also be strong enough to hold a light weight vent since it supports a convection microwave. It was something my wife and I discussed about Winnebagos and Lance who has also dropped the vent hood. Winnebago can probably tell you if you ask them.

RVs have gotten taller as trucks have gotten taller. The average ride-height of half-tons shapes RV design to a huge degree. A lot of clients also like a little more ground clearance for getting off the pavement Many RVs do still come with adjustable suspension for changing the ride height but the torsion system on these Winnies just doesn't do that

It would be nice. I think the challenge is how the wheel wells jut up into the body of smaller RVs which forces them to step-up slides. Hard to put a really nice sleeper sofa or theater in a slide that's 9" elevated... then you don't have headroom to sit in the slide box. BUT.. if it could be done then I'm 100% with you here

hate the cheap looking trim on the sofa backs. I fact I would rather see a dual recliner with a pedestal table than those cheap looking dinet seats. also this being a Winnie, you would think they would put a hood vent over the stove top, I think this is one of the worst designs I have seen from winnebago. doesn't even look like there is a fart fan in the bathroom, their designers must have come up with this layout while someone was hungover.
