Последняя реклама драмматичная, эмоциональная, она показывает какая тяжёлая работа сухопутных войск. Правда тут впихнуто очень много "лопат". Ну, то есть... СЛИШКОМ много. Зато сделано качественно. Я даже плакал, когда уже 30 или больше раз пересматривал эту рекламу. Я в принципе всё уже высказал) Теперь можете высказать своё мнение в комментариях. Слава Украине и ВСУ! Тепер ось що я насправді думаю про ці реклами. [UKR] Реклами російської армії прям нахабно показують свою "могутність" і говорять про те, що армія несе світові "мир і свободу" показуючи свою "доблесть і доброту". Вже в принципі всім зрозуміло, що те, що показують реклами армії Росії, зовсім не відповідає реальності. А от реклама одягу та аксесуарів "армії росії" - це вже просто смішно) Зате реклами української армії реально показують людей у ​​лавах армії та реально каже, за що народ реально бореться. No one wants a war, but history has shown time and time again that wars are often unavoidable. As the popular saying goes: “Si vis pacem, para bellum” - “If you want peace, prepare for war” In my opinion Ukraine has certainly prepared for war. Ukraine was powerless when Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk was taken from Ukraine back in 2014. Putin had thought Ukraine was a weak and crumbling nation just waiting to be conquered. But that was 2014, now 2023? Ukraine has shown the world that the people of Ukraine would rather stand in defiance against Tyranny than live on their knees in submission. They showed that despite being outnumbered and outgunned at the start of the war, the Armed Forces of Ukraine certainly was not out classed. Where Ukraine lacked in quantity, they made up for it in the quality of their soldiers. Where Russia squandered their early advantages, Ukraine turned their own disadvantages into their own advantages. Where Russia was stuck making the same mistakes again and again, Ukraine learned from their mistakes and changed tactics. Ukraine maybe broken and bloodied, but Ukraine is certainly not defeated! As for F-35s we only saw its ability to crash off combat duty. We could also say that Russian BM-30 Smerch and Iskanders are dealing equal if not more damage than HIMARS and that is the case but you're too ignorant to realize that other missile systems beside HIMARS exist and are employed by armies other than NATO

Российская реклама - это мотивационные ролики, показывающее, каким крутым ты можешь стать, если пойдёшь в армию. Украинская реклама - это больше драматические видео, рассказывающие о том, что на войне не маньяки воюют, а обычные люди, которые скучают по нормальной жизни и своей семье.

eh... the US just realized that its the one market they haven't used yet. getting more female recruits can rotate more males into front line service. The army is more than the front line and folk that are not male can easily fulfill those roles. its just common sense. Using able bodied men to man the artillery and drones is a waste when women (who use up less resources in general) can do the same job. The "two moms" ad is just that. Aimed for another target audience.

The message of the last ad was that Ukrainians were breaking through to freedom. The point is the word "прорив" which in Ukrainian is identical to the word "рити" which means to dig. Therefore, the shovel is a symbol of a breakthrough. That's why there are so many shovels in the video, in case someone didn't understand

The narrative of both types of ads really changes given the fact that Ukraine and Russia has had conflict for a while. Russia being on the offensive, and Ukraine on the defensive. For Russia, you needed to leave everything behind including your home in order to become stronger. For Ukraine, you must always remember where you came from.

I am from South Korea and my country has universal conscription. The military is filled with people like my only younger brother, my closest friends, and someone who could have been standing on the cashier on my last grocery shopping. Many of them wear glasses, many are scrawny, but those everyday average citizen also spend a significant part of their 20s in harms' way just so that civilians like myself can sleep well at night. The ad makes me want to cry.

Видео России мне нравится намного больше. Прям то, что нужно для защиты страны. Когда смотришь Русское видео хочется встать с дивана и начать совершенно новую жизнь. Хочется бороться до последнего за Родину и жизни людей. Это действительно вдохновляет и придает силы. А реклама Украины так чисто поплакать. После просмотра видео Украины мне бы не хотелось служить стране. «Что я из этого получу?» вот такой вопрос у меня прокручивался в голове.

The Russian one, even though Americans creamed over it when it came out, is honestly out of touch with Slavic culture, almost like it is directed by some Hollywood wannabe. In Slavic countries we have long histories of "people's armies" citizen soldiers are basically the bedrock of many of our cultures and militaries, we all have a brother/father/uncle who fought in some war or another, a rebellion, most people know that this "Badass Soldier" imagery is pure myth . While the Ukrainian ones are closer to home, especially "Each of Us", it shows precisely what most Slavs think about when they think about the military. Sure the age of conscription is over, but some of us older guys still have friends we met back then, It was unique, a plumber, lawyer, dumb football kid, all together, and as we liked to say it "Eating out of the same bucket of shit" , it was an enriching experience.

It was a clothes store ad, not an army ad. Kind of strange one though.

Even as a Russian, the first Ukrainian ad was just built amazing. But “the ballad of the infantry” Ukrainian one was probably the perfect ad, Instead of being filled with pride like the Russian ads, the analogy of the trench forming in combat is just great. The trench builds over them being there together to defend and they unite as one, then they adapt to think that they don’t have is just great. it’s almost the perfect army ad.

В украинской рекламе служба это какая-то трагедия, поэтому солдат показывают как самоотверженных, а из работу представляют самопожертвованием, что-ли. Вот, они вроде обычные люди, но идут воевать ради того, что им дорого. То есть возвышается идея самопожертвования, храбрости. В российской рекламе показаны личные цели. Стать лучше, превзойти самого себя, достичь совершенства, я бы сказал. И рассказывая про трудности на этом пути, возвышается трудолюбие/усердие, закаленность, отвага. Я бы сказал, что российская реклама нацелена на молодых людей, призывного возраста, потому что уделяет внимание личному росту, что очень важно для многих молодых мужчин. Украинская более общая, нацеленная вообще на всех призывного возраста, демонстрируя, что служить могут люди с совершенно разной жизнью и происхождением. Хоть студент, хоть мужик за 40, потому что в любом возрасте есть за кого сражаться. Видно, что нужно армиям (если такой характер рекламе был дан специально, конечно).

The first Ukrainian video hit me really hard. I was in Ukraine some months ago and I will return in june to fight for the country of the woman I love, for the one that saved me some years ago. I'm traveling 14000 kilometres for doing my part in making her homeland safe, I was born in Chile 🇨🇱 but if my time comes, I want my last breath to be in Ukraine, as far as I can know she will smile again as she used to (Gladly Diana doesn't know the things I have done. I never told her my plans so she won't be worried: she had had enough. So I found a way to break up with her without hurting her). I already left behind my old life, my family and my career as an Army Officer because in the time I spent there, I was able to witness the bravery and honour of every Ukrainian, as well as realising they are the most kind hearted people in the world. Being impartial I feel more attracted by the Ukrainian ad mainly because unlike the Russian one instead of depicting serving on the armed forces as something glorious its more down to earth and instead of glorifying war even if its on self defense it depicts it as what it is, a large scale circus of atrocities and inhumanity yet emphasizes that overcoming all of it is a worthy duty and more important that in the end soldiers aren't their countries version of Captain America but normal human beings

as a russian, i'll agree with the most of you, ukrainian ads are better these ads doesnt show how they are "strong", these ads doesnt show that war is a battlefield/call of duty-like experience, these ads show us a lot of different people fighting for their country. im proud of 'em.

the each of us hits hard, in some war footage i saw on reddit a kid was carrying wounded on a BMP and someone ask him what they should do, he was just crying and said "how should I know, two weeks ago I was graduating high school"

Ukrainian ads are more meaningful and touching, and most importantly, they make more sense today. May their heroes defeat the invaders. 💪💙💛💪

The reason is probably because Ukraine has been at war (civil) since 2014 and open conflict since very recently. Their ads reflect this because they had a need to muster support very quickly, so they went for a more bottom up approach. Basically "join because YOU will be affected if YOUR country LOSES." Russias ads are made for an army that is big, doing very little, and is reminiscent of being an ad for a job or lifestyle. Its not trying to recruit people to get them ready 100% for war, or assuming war is on the horizon, its meant to be cool and pull people in to fill a job spot. these are huge differences. Ukrainian ad basically admits that you may, or will, die. But its for something much bigger than you. The russian ad is advertising a job to you, a role that you get to fill and a sort of fulfillment of the dream. If Russia went with the ukranian style advertisement it would completely change Russias approach to war itself, they would find it hard to stop people from volunteering in Wagner, or any other unit. Polish territorial defence forces uses the same "anyone of us can be a soldier" approach Ukranian ads use.
