Most likely yes, but we bet it's all about selling a few watches at a high margin rather than selling many at a low margin. On top of that, the more watches you sell, some fixed costs (like QA and sales) go up as well.
5k for a Selita. Man, I love this hobby but we need to stop bending over to these companies. This is basically a microbrand watch

And we have called it a microbrand in our material. Yes, the price is steep - plenty of Mings on Chrono24 for approx. €2,5k.
