I could listen to Siciliano over and over again without getting sick of it. We're playing this in band class right now, and every time I hear this part it lifts my mood completely. It's so lovely.

Playing first horn on Siciliano was so terrifying because of the fact that it’s just first and third horn at the beginning and D is a lot harder to start cleanly than Bb 😂

we played this my freshman year. I'm graduating this year, going back and listening to music I've played... it's soooo sad. Enjoy it while you can because it speeds by really fast!!

I played it for region honor band this past weekend. It was very fun

I swear I felt like I was swimming and flying at the same time while playing siciliano...one ofthe most beautiful songs

Played percussion senior year, had the solo at 5:42, everyone would cheer me after that part every time during practice, bunch of weirdos, good times good times :'(

I loved these songs so much because they were instrumentally even. As a euphonium, I didn't usually see much melody, but this piece really delivered for the low brass.

I don't think I ever appreciated my high school symphonic band conductor enough for picking pieces such as this which feature euphonium, I was really spoiled and had no clue until I became an adult.

Played 1st horn for this my senior year. Was cut short by the pandemic, but I’m glad that this was the last piece I ever played. I miss band so much

Awww man those amazing percussion parts just flow it together

I love hearing the 1st tuba go for those Gb runs in the rondo.

This is nostalgia for me. One of the first songs i ever played in high school.

I have a long relationship with this piece.. Last year, in middle school, we sight-read it and everyone loved it for weeks, then it came up again and I got to play a different part in Orange County's (nope, Florida) All-County band, and now I get to practice another part for my school's spring concert coming up soon. Really, I love it.

Loved this when we played it in high school. More than 40 years later, I still hum it, especially the beautifully lyrical Siciliano.

I played this song last year in band. Such a wonderful piece.

I loved playing this song! I was on trumpet! It was so much fun to play

I just came across this piece in a tiktok of all things, I'd totally forgotten I'd played it but recognized it instantly! The rondo section was so much fun for the alto saxes

Played principal trumpet on this for the first time summer of 9th grade at the University of Pacific Summer Camp, Tim Smith directing. I have since taught it to my students 4 times of the course of my career. Best Band Piece ever!

This song brings back so many memories... Sophomore year in the Utah State Honor Band. This and Resting in the Peace of His Hands were my two favorite pieces. I'll never forget those days.

Gahh, played this in my seventh grade year. Played it at the Meyerson in Dallas; so much nostalgia. GO FRENCH HORNS

Played this for Ventura County Honor Band this year. Was good, i liked.

Sight read this in Wind ensemble today (6th,7th and 8th grade) Our BD wanted to figured out if she liked it and she did so we should be getting this in November again

I love this. My band camp band did this, too. In my opinion, I'm not used to Siciliano going that fast. But everything else is fantastic.

Everyone is saying siciliano but tbh I like it when my band plays rondo, in the state of texas we have a reputation for being aggressive with our sound so rondo fits us better, only really the first chairs have a decent melodic sound, but we’re getting there

If you think these rips are cool try playing his Tam O' Shanter. First horn parts are so sexy.
