I changed nothing, I kept our daily lives the same. Tip don’t tiptoe around the house get baby use to the daily routine and noise and he will sleep anywhere

I did not switch detergents. Baby detergent honestly just a gimmick. Just get a dye free scent free detergent. You can use it for everything.

Definitely redo laundry room you’re going to be spending so much time in there with the babies things along with the normal stuff you do! It’ll be so worth it to just get it out of the way

We switched to All unscented and “clean-ish” detergent. I’ve read tons of articles and reviews that go against dreft. Plus they jack the price up if any baby exclusive items! Save the money!

Invest in speed queen!!! I don’t hear many complaints from people who have them! I’m looking into them as well after mine decide to quit.

I opted out of the baby detergent. Read about Dreft not being great . using baking soda as laundry detergent 🙂

The only thing I really changed during pregnancy (because most other household stuff I had changed before I got pregnant while I was trying to heal my hormones) is my skincare. I learned you can make skincare with essential oils, obviously really high quality ones that have been 3rd party tested for purity and preferably organic (plant therapy is what I use). I just use jojoba oil and dilute lavender, frankincense, and clary sage and I’m honestly blown away by how good my skin started looking in just a few days. Highly recommend trying it. Way cheaper and better for you. I still use a conventional face wash for now

I just changed our laundry detergent to free and clear. I got the Mandela bottle cleaner soap so it would get the milk out easier.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THE SAMSUNG WASHER & DRYER!! Mine was the absolute worst, I do probably 4-5 loads per week and they were nothing but problems. Repair technicians told me that they are the most common brand they get calls about. Like someone else said, invest in a Speed Queen.

As far as switching things out…I would highly recommend purchasing the book “A Little Less Toxic” by Shawna Holman. Great guide to making your home healthier for everyone.

Nesting isn’t new or a trend! It’s actually a natural instinct to prepare for a coming baby (for humans and other animals/birds). My grandma (86) and my mother (56) are familiar with nesting.
