If you are federal employee, for example you work for VA, chances are you are not covered by your state disability insurance because you were not paying for it from your paycheck.
For example in California there is state disability insurance ( SDI ) that covers your last month of pregnancy 🤰. If you were not paying CA SDI (chances are you weren’t as a federal employee) your claim for this program will be denied 🙅🏼‍♂️
