I’ve been off the pill for 2 weeks.. been on it for 6 years.. and started my period 2 days ago.. excited for what’s coming :)

Irene Nii yes you are!!! I got pregnant two months after being off the pill for that many years.. then I just recently had my second child who I wasn’t trying for.. I’d ran out after a year and been off for one week, I got pregnant. Lol. It happens.. maybe me and my fiancé are just fertile 😅

My advice to younger women thinking about going on the pill, Don't!!! Chart your cycle instead, it is easier than ever with cheap ovulation predictor strips. Dont listen to people tell you that you can get pregnant any time you have sex, this is not true you have a fertility window and it only during this time that you are able to conceive. Roughly five days out of a 28 day cycle.

I’m wondering too, I have only been on the pill for 2 months.. started September 15th 2021 , we decided we wanted to try. My story is a bit different. Went through two surgeries to remove tumors and tissue that was blocking me from getting pregnant. Doc said when I’m ready to stop . However, I thought you weren’t supposed to ovulate? October 30th I ovulated , did our thing (while still on the pill) we agreed to try so I stopped taking it the 14th of this month. I know we’re supposed to have breakthrough bleeding and not necessarily a normal period. My calendar says I’m 15 days late but I ignore it because On the pill you don’t get one . Well since I’ve stopped the pill 4-5 days ago during sex I have bleed. How long should I wait to test

Well I’m 29 but I already have two kids and trying for one more. But some women have better things to do than lay on their backs in their teens and early 20s some women like to get a career first so they can actually take care of the kid. And I don’t blame them.
