    I think I would reveal the "supposed" three of clubs (or whatever this random card happens to be) after my prediction card. That allows for a little time delay, while the spectators are amazed at the prediction.

    To avoid having to do the glide why not have the 3rd 8 in the 9th position instead of the 10th.
