@@Emmathelady Fellow Giants fan here, I don't like the idea of the Giants signing Chapman. We have J.D. Davis who put up similar offensive numbers to Chapman this year and plays better defense. That move to me makes no sense. I think more than anything the Giants need more starting quality starting pitching. Personally am hoping the Giants can sign Yamamoto. As for a bat, as much as I am not a fan of the idea, I think Bellinger is probably the better target. Zaidi has demonstrated he prefers more defense and our outfield defense was awful. Bro, you need a spreadsheet we can DL to track all this or something. Also, I kind of blanked out but I think Profar resigns with SD. He sucked with COL, came back to SD and was the decent player and clubhouse presence he'd been since he was with the team. I feel like the team's resurgence was relatively related to, but not necessarily caused by, his return to the team. I feel like the team would be dumb not to keep him as a LF/DH option that he's been here, especially since Soto's status is so up in the air. Both him and the team wanted to re-team, it feels weird that both would diminish themselves yet again but whoTF knows, obvs...

Halfway through this video and the White Sox are getting 2 first baseman, 1 guy who they DFA’d in May, a journeyman 2nd baseman, and a bum reliever. I won’t see day 1 of the season if that actually happens as I won’t survive that.

Man, that's a lot of players past their prime going to the Angels. Flaherty, Hill,, Franmil Reyes, JD Martinez, etc. That sounds like a nightmare, which means you're probably not far off.

This would be a disastrous free agency for the O's. None of those players improve their roster at all. There's just no way they don't grab 1 of the good starters. They have only $12 mil committed to 2024. By far the least in the majors. Also, the Twins front office said they want to cut payroll, not add a few hundred million in free agency. lol

@@noodler5583 they tried to get Cease and Montgomery at the deadline. The White Sox GM was a moron demanding Jackson Holliday and the Cardinals wanted pitching prospects, something the O's don't really have.
