While we never had any virtual console games for switch, the closest we can get that we received so far are Arcade archives (Nintendo games), Advance wars 1 + 2, Paper Mario thousand Year door, Mario vs Donkey Kong (Remake), Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, Miitopia (The 3DS remaster) Skyward sword HD, Pikmin 1 + 2, Super Mario RPG (Remake) Kirby return to Dreamland deluxe, Links Awakening, Metroid Prime remastered, Super Mario 3d all stars (physical version) and A bunch of other third-party retro video game collections. Which is pretty dang impressive

I mean I do have some physical copies of Wii, GameCube and DS games so I would prefer not to have those on Switch Online maybe they could add Sonic 1, 3 and Knuckles and other add ons like Blue Sphere, Knuckles in Sonic 2 and the standalone versions of Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles

For the wireless Wii Remote, just take out two tall and slim candles, light them, and you have the make-shift sensor bar needed. My brother did this because of the infra red light signal between the Wii Remote and the Sensor Bar was needed, and we weren't able to connect the sensor bar to the Wii at the time for whatever reason, so that's how I know candles work that way

Can't wait until it gets switch game support.

Yeah, it is very wishful thinking. GameCube seems very likely, but Wii/DS will probably not happen, or just be less than what Nathan predicted. We can dream though!

i just wanna add something about the pokemon games, because i don't think they're happening this year, if they ever happen. they'll need to be able to disable rewinding, suspend points, and cloud saves just for the pokemon games and not for any of the other ones to prevent pokemon duplication, and they'll need to add pokemon home support. rewinding and suspend points is probably doable, pokemon home support could be possible but would probably take a while to figure out, but the real issue is gonna be disabling cloud saves. they could do it in theory, but it would require an almost complete overhaul of the switch online service. it's so much more likely that they'll release them separately on the eshop, which even then they're not likely to do. the easiest way to do it which is still stupidly unlikely is to have all of the pokemon games as separate apps that are free to play with a switch online membership, but that'll probably be clunky and only make people pretty upset.

I think it would be really cool if we also got more third party systems, like Sega Saturn, dreamcast, turbo graphics 16 and Virtual boy. Since those consoles have a small audience since collecting for those systems can be pricy but having them on NSO will make them more widely available!

So, on the 20-year anniversary of Super Mario Galaxy 2 is when we're getting it for Switch 2. THEY BETTER RELEASE IT ON THE EXACT DATE, May 23, 2010, so May 23, 2030, had BETTER be when they release it for Switch 2. Edit to clarify: I know none of the games but two Nintendo Online games have been confirmed, but IF all these predictions turns out to be true, then getting SMG2 in 2030, in May, and on the 23rd, then it'd be quite amazing how good Nathaniel is at predicting. Hell, I've been able to predict when Season 16 of NCIS would be available on TV in my country, adn that was by knowing the exact amount of episodes, basing the calculations on when season 15 became available, and just guess thr date, then pay attention to every ad by fast forwarding at a decent speed, not too slow nor too fast, but fast enough 2 be able to abruptly stop if I caught something remjnding me of NCIS, and just check whether that was what I was looking for or not. Tho, I waited until it neared the predicted date, and I actually NAILED it. Now I'm predicting when Season 21 of the same show becomes available in my country, or on Disney+ in the UK, which I have acces to through a VPN, and since it's only 10 episodes due to the strike last year, waiting is still a pain, but will take way shorter time. I'm predicting somewhere this year because adding subtitles on 10 episodes, whole time consuling still, it's 14 fewer than Season 16, and I really don't want to wait till next year to watch Season 21 either, so I hope they drop the Season on Disney+ like a week or so after finishing the Season, so that my mom and I can watch the series on Disney+, and then on TV.

A second screen for the next Switch? All my yes!

I imagine they'll be re-releasing Super Mario 3D All Stars with Super Mario Galaxy 2 as free DLC in 2025 or 2030 to celebrate the 40th or 45th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. on the NES

16:35 Billy Hatcher should have happened a LONG time ago. It's a really underrated Sega game.

Some of these predictions are definitely wishful thinking, but the guess about the original Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow being released alongside FireRed and LeafGreen is just plain unrealistic. Not only is it exceedingly unlikely for the originals to be made available on a platform that also has the remakes, but there are known glitches in Red and Blue that can permanently corrupt the ROM. There's no way they would sell Red and Blue on a modern system without making some sort of modifications to handle those instabilities, and once you start removing the classic glitches, you might as well just play the remakes. Also, they'll never re-release any game that has Jynx's original sprite.

I still think 3DS Online is a good possibility. The 3DS is almost old enough at this point to be considered a retro console. The 3DS would be one of the only Nintendo consoles without online play capabilities due to the WiiU/3DS servers shutting down. WiiU Online wouldn't make sense due to most WiiU games being ported to Switch already, but the 3DS still has many games that aren't on Switch. Also for Wii Online, it would be cool if they added the many different Wii channels to the service

My List of games I want on the NSO: -Simcity SNES -Mother 3 in the West -Chrono Trigger -The original SNES version of Mario RPG -GameCube and Dreamcast -Aerobiz for genesis (Odd choice but it’s a fun tycoon game) -Final Fantasy 1-6 -Donkey Kong 64 -Diddy Kong Racing And that’s my list for now. Im not anticipating it but I can understand other picked choices.

for the DS part I don't think their gonna make a second screen bc the switch two is going to be called the switch attach or something like that and its already gonna have two screens that can be separated

One thing to note: Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn are direct sequel/connected, and the same goes for Colosseum and XD. It doesn't make much sense to split them up.

The expansion pass would be worth it once the Wii U comes. It’s half’s the price of the games pass but. Idk if it half’s the value. The core(10$ more then expansion pack) still has way more value then expansion pack. I think they may need to add remakes too to make it good. Also 3ds is needed. I hopes they get faster with releases.

Two things First off, if I actually saw Squarespace on the switch it would be hilarious Second, assuming the switch 2 gets a couple extra years like 2031 and 2032 I would love to see the Mario and Sonic Olympic games title and I think Wii Party and Sports Resort could do well on the Wii, as well as Wii Fit but you may need a balance board or something similar. The Carnival Games series would also be great additions. And we may as well have Wii Music because why not. As for the DS, nintendogs might be a good title as well as Mario And Sonic DS titles (Can’t wait for Vancouver 2010), and a couple smaller sonic games

What about Ace Attorney series for the DS? They might ignore a game for the Athena Cykes character games. The original Trilogy games along with both Investigations. Hopefully they will have the official English version of Investigation 2 for the online. And also Mother 3 AKA Earthbound 2 since Earthbound Beginnings is technically Earthbound 0. The game series that I want that hasn’t been stated there.

I think that there will be many games on April 2030 because Fire Emblem suddenly grown to one of the biggest Nintendo Franchises ever and to celebrate the 40th anniversary with Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon on DS and Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn on Wii. They will also release all NES and SNES FEs as well as Fire Emblem The Binding Blade and Fire Emblem New Mystery of the Emblem with official English translation to their applications for western Switch Online (Expansion Pass) owners.

I’m hoping for GameCube to be added, but I think it would only be on Switch 2 as the current Switch is not powerful enough for that. Sure, there are more GameCube remasters coming to the Switch, but there are still a lot that will likely not get remade, like Double Dash, Melee, the Mario Party GCN Tetralogy… They could just do GCN NSO and omit the games that have been remade.

This is WAY too optimistic. We’re never gonna get Smash or mainline Pokémon games. Frankly, at this point, any game that you’ve heard of is unlikely.

If there's one game I would add to Wii NSO it would definitely be NiGHTS Journey of Dreams. I think people should give it a try and if the classic controller compatible games work with either the new Switch 2 controller or the GameCube controller will work with it.
