Its been a learning curve these last two years but I think I'm getting the hang of it. I doubt I will get the same amount as I dii last year but I'm gonna try. Thanks for your support brother

Where you trapped the young female.... ain't that just right out in front of where you deer hunt. Looked just like where you were in a deer hunting video and Kim was across the field. Reason I ask is are you not worried trapping that close to a deer stand...if it is. Trapping is a lot more work than people realize. Putting in that extra work definitely pays off for the deer and turkey. Keep up the great videos.

Actually that is right in front of the blind Kim killed her deer out of. I think you can see the blind in the background with the top caved in from the snow. lol. No it doesn't bother me at all because I only do it when season is closed. One of the main things I look for is coyote poop. When I find it I will usually set a camera near that spot or trail and if the coyotes are using it frequently. I set a trap in that spot. I have found that setting a trap and trying to get a coyote to come to it doesn't work as well as finding good sign and sitting a trap near the trail or area works great. I can set the trap and lure because I know they will be walking close by. Then the trap does the hunting. Doesn't seem to bother the deer bad either because they come right thru after i put a trap out or check it. Of course I only trap coyotes during the breeding season and usually pull them mud march to get ready for turkey season. Man the difference it made in our deer and turkey numbers is amazing for just one years trapping. Thank you and im hoping this season keeps going good.
