I really agree with the ferrous sulfate solution... because there is an exchange of gold ions... if you use SMB it's not very convincing...

If we add iron sulphate in water and then put it in solution the result will same or not

Urea fertilisers is better for neutralize your acids, if you want to neutralize acids with water, then needs to lot of waters.

Acids can be neutralized with sodium bicarbonate or sodium carbonate. But, neutralization with the above alkalis will not be effective in recovering the gold. You should use urea to neutralize aqua regia.😇

Possible. It may also contain other platium group metals. It depends on what you started out with. There are ways to test the solution if it contains PGMs.

5 to 6 tablespoon sodium metabisulfite is sufficient for ten ounces of gold precipitation

Iron sulphate drops only the gold. SMB will drop platinum group metals along with the gold. So if you want high purity gold double refine. Iron sulphate, then SMB.

Yes, gold+Aqua Regia= Chloroauric acids

Yes just like SMB, Sodium Nitrite, Zinc, copper, sulfur dioxide, and oxalate acid, and vitamin C ( ascorbic acid).
