In this video, Duni is balancing her baby daughter Mobi on her feet, while Ajabu cheekily bites her foot later in the video.
Duni is balancing Mobi. It must be a good exercise for baby Mobi to get her muscles working and strength to hold herself. Let's not forget, that gorilla babies are about three months ahead of human babies in their development. Mobi looks like she's learning to fly. LOL.
Duni is still lying with her feet up, Mobi on her belly. Gorilla youngster Ajabu took this opportunity to nibble on Duni's feet. Shinda's son Ajabu spends quite a lot of time near Duni and baby Mobi.
This was filmed in March 2024 Mobi was born on the 2nd of January 2024.

The "connection" in the title of this video is really of her just helping her infant with coordination and stretching her limbs/muscles. All primates (Great Apes) do this with their young. I also love it when KZreadrs post content and title it with mom kissing her baby, when she's just cleaning her infant.

@SloggerVlogger I get that Meg is suggesting that we're anthropomorphizing, but I agree with you on the muscle development and coordination. Just as humans make sure their babies get "tummy time". However, with this particular activity, one could ask, "who did it first ?" I'm certain primates have always done it. So to suggest a parallel between us and other primates isn't, then, anthropomorphizing. *We* could be copying *them*.
