This is awesome and looks like so much fun. Im new to following this type of racing, so have a few questions if you dont mind. Whats the difference between between 1400 and 1450? If you guys start at the same time, how are they 2 separate classes? Also, whats the difference between this truck and a trophy truck? Thank you

I’m not exactly an expert but from what I know Trophy trucks are two categories. Kinda depends on the organization but Usually an unlimited truck is your million dollar 100MPH through whoops truck. Can be 4wd or 2WD. Next class down is spec trucks which are similar but the engine size is limited and in SCORE ( idk about the others) it has to be a 2WD. Again you’re not racing one of those unless you got crazy $$. These trucks are also fully custom, they don’t resemble cars you can buy off the lot. 1400/1450 are more of a average man who wants to race class. Hence why it’s its own thing at KOH. 1400 have to have a cab and frame from the production truck but everything else is unlimited. 1450s are the same but the rear of the truck must be leaf sprung, and the motors are limited.
