Amazing. Millions of mud bricks. Mind boggling. And the artwork. So many questions...

You visit all the best forgotten gems of history wherever you go, you've got a real knack for finding them!

Chan Chan is amazing ... huge walls surrounding the complex ... massive structures inside with huge courts and intricate frescos ... much love

I haven't heard about those ruins before.I mean...it's very usual you see documentaries about Nazca,Machu Pichu and Cuzco.(when related to Peru) Wonderful.I'm going to know more about them. Seeing these kind of videos ,I feel my admiration for ancient civilizations grows further more... As far as I am concerned,your high quality videos doesn't offer only pleasure to the eyes...they make some of us seek for more knowledge,information..regarding the subject depicted. These sites are really something, I have not seen the mud brick structures before and while the erosion is substantial, the sheer size of the structures can be seen. Excellent quality work.

Durante mi infancia y adolescencia mis maestros de escuela nos llevaban a visitar estos monumentos, en aquel entonces aun no se había descubierto lo maravilloso que ahora podemos ver. Ahora al visitar estas ruinas, solo me queda el imaginar todo el esplendor que tendría. Soy trujillano y tengo el privilegio de haber caminado por estos arenales de niño. Un abrazo a todos desde esta hermosa tierra de Trujillo. Vivo a unos 5 minutos de estas maravillosas ruinas... las Huacas del Sol y de la Luna.

Estas ruinas se llaman "Huaca del Sol y Huaca de la Luna", osea son 2 edificaciones dedicadas una al Sol y la otra a la Luna, quedan en el departamento de La Libertad en Perú, a 20 minutos de la ciudad de TRUJILLO, en el distrito de Moche, provincia de Trujillo, Y hacia el otro extremo, cruzando la ciudad de TRUJILLO, camino al poblado que está a orilla del mar, llamado Huanchaco, está la ciudadela "Chan Chan", realmente está ubicada en el distrito de Huanchaco, a 10 minutos del aeropuerto de Trujillo, y estos son restos de toda una ciudad de barro, con altos muros, con calles, plazas, mercados, centros ceremoniales, y recintos dónde se reunían y compartían los antiguos habitantes de ésta zona de Perú, incluso desde antes que se formara el imperio Incaico, que llegó a dominar a todas estas culturas o tribus dispersas en diferentes zonas del Perú, a lo largo de la Sierra y Costa, teniendo como su capital y centro de gobierno, a Machu Picchu, en la ciudad de Cusco, la ciudadela Chan Chan, también fue usada por el Inca, por ser el más grande centro urbano de éste lado de su imperio. Chan Chan es considerada “La Ciudad de Barro más grande del mundo”, es Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad desde 1986 declarado por la UNESCO. Después de Machu Picchu, Chan Chan es el 2⁰ centro arqueológico más grande del Perú.

Corrección, La Huaca del Sol y de la Luna; así como también Chan chan, se encuentran en la ciudad de Trujillo. Las huacas se encuentran en el distrito de Moche y Chan Chan, en el distrito de Huanchaco. Todas ellas dentro de la Provincia de Trujillo, perteneciendo al área urbana de la ciudad.

Estas ruinas están en Perú en la ciudad de Trujillo al norte del país. Son las huacas del sol y la luna.
