PRE-HURTWORD ENDURO LAPS

Headed out to get some laps in before the Hurtwood Enduro next weekend. See if there need anything done to the bike etc.
Went to a spot I don't usually go to, so was nice to find some loose and wild tracks.!
The next vlog will be a race vlog, my forat race edition. I'll aim to get a hike check, line choice, practice laps and full race runs.

@robobrien69 really enjoyed the tracks on that side, steep.and loose. Maybe abit too loose at times 🤣
Such good trails! Choice names unfortunately 😮🫣 been riding these a lot recently as dry can’t ride some in the wet or too dry either! Wire in the blood and Tomahawk are faves :) Charlie has ridden those ! Fair amount of climbing!! The cows wear electric devices which means they don’t need fences it emits signal to them if get near boundaries and they can change them to suit terrain as the cows clear certain areas. Good to chat at the Hurtwood see you on the trails soon!

@woodmanmtb that's interesting about the electric cow bells. Yeah this place on my watch showed like 75% climbing 😂
Saw them cows the other week, was too scared to go past them.

@michaelgoodwin593 yeah definitely caught us on our guard haha ,but I've never known a cow to kick back. Still gives me the nerves 🤣

@@fendogmtbcows can be very aggressive, especially when calves are about, I got caught out near Brighton one night, and I was brought up on a dairy farm

@dynamike72 I definitely know they can be aggressive. I've been chased a few times, but I was just on about the cows not kicking backwards like a horse. These looked like you could give them a nice cuddle tbh haha

@@dynamike72The cattle in that video (and on those hills) aren’t heifers with calves, they’re all bullocks. I don’t know of any dairy farms up on Ranmore/Box Hill.

Smashed in a top 10, conditions were challenging but I'm stoked. Got a vlog coming out on the race very soon. Check it out
The rebuilt DB is very, very loose. From where you tipped off to the end it’s, as you say, marbles.

Yeah it's definitely that, went from grip to ice in a second 😂 lucky it was a softish landing
