Lately, I keep getting feeds for estate jewelry in gorgeous boxes on my Instagram account. Every time I think, those jewels are beautiful but I just want the antique boxes they are displaying them in and I bet Ms T.T. would love them too.

Your jewelry box- Mr.Tobin bought out his partner and moved to the 6th. Street location in 1917. The business closed in 2019. That case has to be around 100 years old. Just blows the mind. I traded with the neighborhood jewelry store in the early 70s. Ring sizing, watch repair, and purchases. There were even shoe repair shops and tailor/seamstress places for alterations. No mad hatters though.

Lol. It’ll be so funny if I find one. I actually did see one about a month ago at a hospital thrift store, but it was not for sale. It was part of their display. Didn’t stop me from asking how much it was though.!!!
