Blessed to hear and remember to recite every morning

This is my understanding of the translation: Karaagre = at the tip of my palm. Vasate = dwell (plural, so it's one verb to cover all three gods and areas of the palm). Karamadye = in the middle of my palm. Karamuhle = at the base of my palm. Tu = strong or mighty. Prabhaate = in the morning. Karadarshanam = I look at my palm. (Related of course to the word "darshan," to see.) Kara is the word for palm. So the translation literally is: At the tip of my palm dwells Lakshmi. In the middle of my palm [dwells -- the word "vasate" is not repeated but carries over] Sarasvati. At the base of my palm [dwells] mighty Govinda. In the morning I look at my palm. (Lakshmi, Saraswati and Govinda are gods in Hinduism.)

@@catht9653 Certainly it's not just the joy of hearing this great soothing voice and sweet melody that we have in common. To me, it's the mutual love between the universe and human soul that connects us. I'm not a Hindu. I come from the Iranian Azerbaijan. Yet, I've always loved Indian classic movies and traditional music as well as Hindu traditions and philosophies. And Sanskrit is the origin of both Farsi and English. I would also like to know something about the philosophy behind looking at the palm in the morning. I would appreciate if I could learn anything from you on this from a Hindu point of view. Interestingly, Moslems also look at their palms in their daily prayers.

@@eleonorenitzschke9514 it means on the tip palm maa Lakshmi is present (which is goddess of wealth) in the middle of palm maa saraswati is present (i.e, goddess of wisdom or knowledge) and at the base maa gawri is present (i.e, goddess of power or shakti) so when you wake up at the morning make a warm friction between your hands and see your palm 😊🙏🏻

The ideal way to recite this is by holding both palms together, looking at them as you hear the mantra. Believing that all three Goddesses are within you, just do the work and you will achieve everything you want with wealth, knowledge and power. Early this morning I went to walk my dogs at a nearby park and while listening to this mantra I suddenly broke down crying. Only a few hours ago I found this little diamond and to be frankly I repeat it again and again since then. It's been i think almost 3 hours now... I can't sleep at night but when I first listen to this I feel like at peace and wanted to sleep.

In the darkness of space there is always light I hope it manifest in all of us peace.

I played this for my house and had the most peaceful experience. I wanted to meditate on what color to paint my front door for my house. I felt the need to get out my paints and painted namaste and peace and love all over my front door with trees and flowers. My house is full of peace and love and welcome. I love this mantra very much, thank you so much for this beautiful sharing. It has even persuaded me to acquire a small but exquisite sculpture of Lakshmi for my home, upon which I often like to rest my eyes as I listen and repeat the words in my head. I am a little confused by the translation of the words however. I understand the references to Lakshmi and Sarasvati, but how does "Gowri (the goddess of power)" equate to "Govindah"? I thought that Govinda was one of the names of Krishna, and that Gowri (or Gauri) was one of the names of Parvati? I am not Indian and lack knowledge of the stories and myths so perhaps I am simply mixing things up. In any case thank you again for this wonderful video, which has become part of my day and gives me much comfort amidst the turbulence and troubles of the world.

I listen to this again this morning and was swaying back and forth in my living room and at one point started spinning doing small circles it's so beautiful its a undescribable feeling that I get when I listen to this hence why I am back for more 9hours later. I think it would be a good idea to play this in every school an hour before class starts and before going home. Also in deprived areas like slums and ghettos it would most definitely give them hope.

Every universe is covered by seven layers - earth, water, fire, air, sky, the total energy and false ego - each ten times greater than the previous one. Spin clockwise(yang in northern hemisphere/yin in southern hemisphere) or counterclockwise(yin in northernhemisphere/yang in southern hemisphere)(torus spinning). Chant "aum"(like "town") and "om"("home") 3 times each while facing east, west, north(in the southern hemisphere), or south(in the northern hemisphere). Sleep with your head placed east, west, south(in northern hemisphere), or north(in southern hemisphere).

When you wake up in the morning see your palm as at the upper part of palm goddess lakshmi stay, in the middle part of palm staying goddess saraswati and at the base of palm staying shri krishna(govinda). It means you get everything in your palm wealth,wisdom and knowledge.

Flavia Silva yes everyone is a Divine emanation of the One(God). However not all peoples come from a pure state of being. Hence that walk around in a quagmire of lies. The biggest lie they tell to themselves and others is that they are not (God enough) good enough and so they have no trust in themselves or others. So her statement speaks volumes for those who have ears to listen and eyes that see. Namaste

This is to be said in the morning as soon as you wake up, looking at your open palms ( joined as you would if you taking something respectfully with both hands) you begin with karagre vasate lakshmi- tip of your fingers, kar madhe saraswati- middle of the palms, kar mule tu govindam- wrist or base of your palms. Prabhate kar darshnam : look at the entire palms.

The moment I read your comment I knew you were a South Indian. I am a north Indian, though most gods reside in our lands, but it's only south Indians who give the deserved respect and love to Gods. South Indians are so proud and possessive of their culture, they travel all around the world but hardly ever loose touch with their roots... But many in North India just try to imitate and become like a foreigner. All are not like that, but many wannabes are. Don't want to offend any north Indian here. 🙏🙏
