Jesus Christ said unto His disciples, "Since the days of John the Baptist until now, the Kingdom of God suffered violence, and the violent take it by force" (Matthew 11:12) With the afore mentioned rubies of truth (Proverbs 8:11, Psalms 19:10) as the preamble and premise of enlightenment, then we need to understand that it is only the "spiritually "violent" (persistent, unrelenting, valiant, mightily determined, self denied and studiously approved followers) that shall victoriously be a match for the onslaught of this end time antichrist spirits of drawing souls back into perdition and the gate of hell enemies of the cross of Christ (1 Timothy 6:12, Hebrews 10:35-38, 1st John 2:18, 4:1-4). Diligence and being earnest can not be overemphasize in the Christian's conquer and quest for victory in hope of wearing the overcomers' crown (Revelation 3:21, 2Timothy 4:7-8). Paul to the Ephesians, admonished that the Christian's wrestles is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of darkness and against spiritual wickedness in high places, hence the need to put on the whole armour of God, including but not limited to the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:10-18). Jeremiah, the prophet declares: "Cursed be he that keepeth his sword (truth of God's word) from blood" (offence) (Jeremiah 48:10). This should tell you of the peril and abomination of a Christian soldier being lukewarm (Revelation 3:15-19) on the bench (of slothfulness, divers lusts, sinful pleasures, feasting, idleness, unchastity mediocre, being busybodies, tattlers and such like). Those that are sitting on the fence are already an offense to Christ (Revelation 3:15-16, Jeremiah 12:10). The gospel of our salvation is a bloody gospel (Luke 11:50-51). Right from the blood of faithful Abel to the blood of righteous Zacharias which perished between the altar and the temple, shall be required of all who show indifference to the vicarious sacrifice of Christ, meant to redeem their eternal souls from the lake of fire (2 Thessalonians 1:8-12). The gospel cannot be turned into empty gossip (2 Thessalonians 3:11, 1 Timothy 5:13). Arise in the secret place of diligence and keep the apostolic fire blazing, till your trophies at last you lay down (1 Timothy 6:12, 5:12, Galatians 6:14, Revelation 21:4). Glory to God. thank you dearly servant of God. A good fight of faith shall we continue to fight until our trophies, at last, we lay down, at the feet of our precious Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ (2nd Timothy 4:7-8).
