On September 30th, 2016 Haskell Haymaker freshman Reuben Thomas suffered a severe brain injury during the Haskell/Henryetta football game. Reuben was flown by Life Flight to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist Reuben's family with the mounting medical costs.

    ...I remember this. My uncle Caleb was on his team. My uncle was very sad when he saw what happened...my mom new him. It’s really sad..
