Pranayama /meditation Session with Anouk Aoun Wendel

Description of this Session:
In this 30 min. session Anouk will share one of the many valuable practices of Yoga. She will lead us into a basic variation of one of the breathing techniques that everyone can practice and ends in a short meditation.
Please before you start this session, make sure you have some cushion or blanket to sit on. If the knees do not reach the floor when you sit crossed-legged have extra cushions for support. Ideally we practice Pranayama and mediation on an empty stomach.
This is a demonstration. Once you feel confident to do this Pranayama alone, you can practice it for 5 minutes. As you then get more comfortable extend up to 8 or even 10 minutes. Please do not go over 10 minutes. After the Pranayama, as Anouk has demonstrated in the video, sit still for a minimum of 5 minutes (or even longer if your time allows). May this practice bring you peace.
About Anouk:
Working with Asana, Pranayama and mediation as her main vehicle to teach, Anouk is also greatly inspired by Yoga philosophy weaving its valuable messages into her classes. She believes that remaining joyous and non-dogmatic along the spiritual practice helps to cultivate a lightness of being.
Her intention is to help those who come to her classes establish a stable practice that assists them to become awake to the present moment, to center themselves in times of chaos and to cultivate a sense of ease in life. To her, exploring what lies beyond our physicality is fascinating.
After attending her first class in 1997, Yoga for Anouk soon became a daily practice in and beyond its physical aspects. She has been regularly teaching at teacher training programs. Regarding Pranayama and meditation she teaches in the manner she has learned from her teacher Emil Wendel.

    Hello I want to do pranayama. I always drink hot water on an empty stomach in the morning. But can I do Pranayam after drinking water?
