Praise To The Man (The Prophet Joseph Smith)

Музыка

For a testimony of the restored gospel to be complete, it must include a testimony of Joseph Smith's divine mission. The truthfulness of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints rests on the truthfulness of the First Vision and the other revelations the Lord gave to the Prophet Joseph. President John Taylor, the third President of the Church, wrote, "Joseph Smith, the Prophet and Seer of the Lord, has done more, save Jesus only, for the salvation of men in this world, than any other man that ever lived in it".

Jeff I don't think that this claim can be substantiated and is just words aimed at Joseph. I know this church is true and anyone else will when they ask of God sincerely (James 1:5). Also Jesus was clear that that false churches would bad bear fruit (Mat 7:18) and unfortunately this is quite typical of 'mainstream' Christianity in the world today, because they have lost the authority to claim true teachings (2 Thess 1-3).

emmie90 In all truth, Emily (I assume) I am an agnostic. But I find the LDS to be the truest and most honest Christians out there. I have met with missionaries many times and have gone to several church services. Never have I been greeted with warmer hearts. If someone could actually convince me that God exists, maybe I would take solace in the idea that Mormonism is truly the best way to worship Him. Happy Easter, wherever you are :)

Zachary Moye I don't know if you find solace in this, but I have been raised in the Mormon Church my whole life, and through it I found my fiance. We are going to be married in the Seattle Temple on June 20th. It looked at times like things may end badly for us, but we always found our way back to each other, and finally got engaged. It was never losing him that helped ensure me what I already knew, that the Gospel is true. I hope that someday you will find your eternal companion as well, whomever she may be.

Zachary Moye Well one way to know that Our Heavenly Father is there is to read the Book of Mormon Another Testament of Jesus Christ . It is a modern day miracle like the Holy Bible . When you read it's pages and ask yourself if it could of been written by a teenager in rural New York in 1820 and then pray about it you will know . I love the verse in Alma 30:44 .

+Sachin Anand i agree that amazing grace is a wonderful hymn, but this song not only mentions Jesus Christ, it testifies of Him. In the beginning of this video it shows Joseph Smith testifying that he knows the savior lives. In the church, you cannot believe that Joseph Smith is a Prophet, without first believing in our savior and redeemer Jesus Christ, the Son of our loving Heavenly Father, for it is Him who calls the Prophets to teach and testify in Him. And He is the one who called Joseph Smith to be a Prophet

He walked up and greeted death. He could not have thought that he would live, having even received revelation otherwise. Shot back or not, this man is a martyr in every respectable sense of the term. I can't believe that he didn't want to live for his wife and children(living and deceased) and I would not blame him if he did shoot back. God Bless the Prophet

Growing up we were always taught in primary up till now and still is the same teaching about the Prophet Joseph Smith that he restore the TRUE GOSPEL into this world. I believe in the Prophet but until I was teaching class the other time and the lesson was about the story of the Prophet Joseph Smith. I thought to myself it going to be easy because we all should know about him the Prophet Joseph Smith. Until I was preparing my lesson I never got to really I mean really get to just sit there and read about the Prophet life and it really really touches my heart of all the good works that the Prophet did. Some of the small and even big things he has to sacrifice everything that he had and everything that he went through was undescribable and beyond uncomparable. And I was sitting there reading and prepared my lesson it had really really changed my perspective about the Prophet Joseph Smith. I have learn so much about him doing the lesson. He is the true Prophet of the Latter Days. He restore the TRUE CHURCH.💘💘

"My mission is to testify of Jesus Christ. I know that He Lives." -Joseph Smith Jr. Such a powerful statement just before his death. The world will never know a greater and nobler man, only Christ will be greater. To those of you who are not members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I plead with you to come and see this great work. God has called a prophet, Joseph Smith, to bring His gospel to the earth. He has also provided us with more scripture, The Book of Mormon, to testify of Christ and his teachings. I promise that if you read it, it will bring you closer to Christ. I know this because I have been a member my whole life, served a full time mission, and lived this gospel. Come and see for yourself what the Lord has done.
