I used to listen to these in the early eighties. Then christian music went mainstream and got weak. This music is calming, soothing, thoughtful, and promotes meditation in the spirit. Praise God for his strength and comfort in these last days. Look up Christians! Your redemption draws nigh!

+Matt Collazo Hey, Brother. I'm not the one who posted this song, but I posted a reply that apparently did not post. First of all, thanks for your testimony. Praise the Lord!!! This song is very old school. It's from the early days of praise and worship music. Things were beautifully simple back then. This album was put out by Maranatha Music, and they have a whole slew of albums available on CD. Watch out for the Praise Strings albums, though; if you're looking for vocals, the strings albums are just orchestrations of the songs that are on other Maranatha albums with vocals. The strings are very beautiful and peaceful, but if that's not what you're looking for, make sure you read the album titles carefully. Vineyard Music is another one that put out a bunch of really good praise and worship music. They have a more recent album called "Discover Roots Worship" that has a classic rock/country rock sound and some really good lyrics. We use some of those songs in our church worship. A couple of more current groups are Hillsong and Passion Praise (not sure of the exact name of that one). They have some very worshipful music. I hope these help and that they provide you with hours of blessing.

There is a very amazing thing about this song, In year 1975, it was translated to be sung in Brazil by Pastor Jaime Kemp. He is a missionary from the United States who arrived in Brazil in 1967. Together with his wife, Judith Kemp, Pastor Jaime Kemp founded the “Vencedores por Cristo” something like Overcomers for Christ Mission in 1968. This mission focuses on youth discipleship, biblical training, and evangelism through music and the arts in general. Over the years, the teams have been renewed, and they are still active today. You can check out the version sung in Portuguese Brazil at the link below (Yes, in Brazil we don't speak Spanish, we speak Portuguese)😉 kzread.info/dash/bejne/oaaF0Zurg8Kxgbw.html
