The tears just rolled when I saw this, never have I seen anyone give praise like this at a college graduation and I've had four. The leader started by acknowledging God, she didn't hide her belief by her title and I say thank you. Not sure if this is a christian school but she gave the students the freedom to give thanks to God for He is the one that help them make it. May God continue to bless them all on their career goals.

Powerful, observation! You are completely biblically correct with this statement! Matthew 6;1-7 1 Corinthians 14:40 gives clear and direct instructions! The art of studying Scripture in its entirety has been thrown away hermeneutics and textual criticism need to be taught and understood! It's time to turn off the music and turn on all the lights! Glory Hallelujah to “ HIS” name

I am here for this! I remember arriving to school one semester to find out I needed additional funds I nor my mom had. I started to cry because going home was not an option. The financial aid lady told me not to cry that she would help me find the additional funds. There were times that I wasn’t sure where the money would come from for books, BUT GOD made a way every single time. So I totally understand why they’re dancing and praising.... it was nobody but Jesus! 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽Congratulations class of 2021!!!

The lady at the podium blessed me the way she let God have his way and the graduates got to praise him.

I stumbled over this KZread looking for something else. I do not know a single soul who graduated from Elizabeth City, but I tell you one thing it made my heart leap for joy when I saw and felt the Holy Ghost on display. Thanks be unto God who gives us the victory. The praisers are probably say my soul looks back and wonder how I got over.

Glory to God and as someone who’s still in college working on my degree in social work it motivates me to trust God more with my journey and praise him through

Tears 👏🏿 of 👏🏿 joy 👏🏿 God IS so good and may all these wonderfully devoted graduates perpetuate His goodness where ever they go 🙏🏿. And come through organist/keyboard player. They did that. Whew!!!!

When so many people have lost family members during the pandemic, the hurricanes, the Ice Storms, wildfires...and these young people still made it. Well justified runs.

Only when you know the unbelievable goodness of God, that you can probably acknowledge Him like this. This is bringing tears to my eyes because usually graduation services are supposed to be pious and dignified. But, when one knows what God has done, you lose your dignity like David did, when he danced out of his clothes. You better praise him children!

In everything give thanks! I would’ve tore up this entire auditorium if it was me. Regalia and all!

I graduated 33 years ago from Tuskegee University with a B.S. in Mathematics and 2 days before graduation they told me I couldn't walk because I was 1.5 credits SHORT of Humanities...come to find out they didn't calculate in summer school courses I took before I got there. After MUCH prayer, the Lord MOVED where they cleared it up JUST IN TIME for me to walk on that Mother's Day morning, ON TIME, HALLELUJAH!! I SURELY got my SHOUT ON!! Let those young people GLORIFY OUR GOD for TRULY IS WORTHY of ALL WORSHIP & PRAISE and He's an ON-TIME GOD!!!🙌🙌🙌

This bought tears to my eyes when I saw this.as my mom says,"JUST BECAUSE OF JESUS". Continue to give ALMIGHTY GOD the Praise🌹💕

When you gotta go thru a PANDEMIC to finish your DEGREE, IT HIT DIFFERENT!!!!!!!!! DANCE CHILDREN!!!!! PRAISE HIIM!

And for all of you that wasn’t ashamed I pray that God will triple your blessing and the speaker. God see you go girl!

Absolutely! I love hBCU. Happened at ours too every year. Especially when you or someone in your class walks across that stage that you KNOW struggled and still made it.

Babe, some watching this just won't get it until they know the Man. Carrying this praise in my spirit until and beyond the day my son BS degree is conferred upon him. Some said he wouldn't make it w/o the aide of medication to control his behavior but to God be the Glory. He's making it with all A's & B's. 5/7/2022....I'll be shouting, dancing and praising Him.

I am so thankful I lived to see an ECSU graduation like this. There is no way to know what each graduate has gone through trying to earn their degree with personal, financial, family, and life struggles, along with the pandemic, but knowing the Lord was with them every step of the way. I graduated from ECSU 47 years ago and for this to happen during graduation is evidence that times change, struggles are still real, but the Lord is always present and will pull you through if you believe and have faith. So glad to see those not ashamed to give God the Glory. Congratulations to all the Graduates and Congratulations to ECSU for allowing a Real GRADUATION CELEBRATION.
