Prairie Vistas: A Monthly Look at Classroom Resources is a new, monthly series from Prairie Public that covers the free, digital resources available to educators from PBS, Prairie Public, and other trusted partners.
This month's episode is on STEM/STEAM resources. We'll define the two acronyms and determine what exactly the difference is, why STEM/STEAM skills matter, and explore a wide variety of digital resources on PBS LearningMedia that you can use immediately with your students. Also included is an interview with Prairie Public Production Manager Andy Garske, who we talk to about his career, training, and own thoughts on the connection between STEM and the arts.
