I love how you were shocked by Starbuck's having vegan. Starbuck's is known in the UK (and possibly Europe) as having vegan options, even in Greece when I went. I was surprised to go to Florida and found the Starbuck's there had nothing food wise.

Great videos guys! Makes me want to see Europe vegan style. I’ve been vegan for 5 years now, and this is just the beginning.

Thanks for the video. Just a funny detail: the name of the restaurant CHUTNEY is a bit of a pun, because "chutný" means "tasty" in Czech. The colloquial form is "chutnej", which can also be spelled (incorrectly but humorously) "chutney".

3:55 The region you live in has something similar yet distinct called "Baumkuchen", also a dessert, baked over an open flame by pouring dozens of layers of dough over a rotating metal bar. Glad you enjoy your trips, theres so many short trips to neighboring worth going on with Germany being located as it is

Trdelnik is Baumkuchen (or Baumstriezel). It probably comes from Hungary.

Wow, that looks amazing. Everything. I haven't been to prague for quite a long time now as I moved cross country. before it was a 2,5-3 hours drive, good for a day trip. now I would have to drive across whole germany on top. I would love to visit it some time soon again.

If you come to Berlin, there is a place in Friedrichshain called Chimneys that has the Trdelnik things with some good vegan ice cream. Also, Brammibals donuts is a few stores down with great vegan donuts. Let me know when you come and maybe can do do a vegan restaurant collab!

damn, i was very surprised by how good this video was! i will definitely check the rest of your channel out. on an unrelated note: how hard was it for you two to travel with a small child? i ask because i'm in my early 20s and love traveling, but my financial situation doesn't allow me to do so as of yet and it feels like i'm wasting time and that there will come a time where i'll have to choose between exploring other cultures or raising a family. anyways, sorry for rambling and again congrats on the video!

Are you going to take advantage of the 9-Euro-ticket for day trips?

Yes, you are right, other countries and z. B. Czech Republic or U.K. or Switzerland are much more advanced than Germany in terms of nutrition. In Germany people think "meat is a piece of life force" but exactly the opposite is the case. I've been a vegetarian for 40 years... I really like eating cheese and dairy products, otherwise I'd be vegan too. Best regards.

It's 50:50 in Germany ,it's fair for meat eaters and vegans and more isn't needed. So it's perfect in Germany

It’s now even getting better with vegan non dairy options. Vegan cheese is really tasty.

I can only recoment visiting a konzentration-camp, if you are living in germany. If you are in to history or want to understand the german mindset regarding politics and national pride, this is the only place where you can catch a glimpse of what happend and shaped germany/the europe of today. There are more than enough you can visit in germany, but i can reccomend Buchenwald or of course Aushwitz, even though its a short trip away...
