Yes you can pay by card mostly everywhere, can buy tickets in self-service kiosks or online as well. I haven't use cash in the last 3-4 years...

I'd say it is relatively easy to get a job in IT as there are lots of companies here like Kyndryl (ex-IBM), Motorola, AT&T, Redhat, Honeywell, Avast, SAP, Oracle, Amazon, Microsoft...
