On our recent visit to Prague in May 2024, we caught up with the "facelift" new Tatra T3R.PLF2 trams in service as well as their older sisters - the T3R.PLFs - many of which had lost their maroon and silver livery for the standard red and primrose with the frontal "V".
Deliveries of T3R.PLF2s had reached 8757 and up to 8753 were in service, though some of the earlier examples - 8288-8292 - were either not complete or had been sent
away to be completed.
