This is the first time that I’ve seen the pouch issue addressed. I have the same problem, my pouch doesn’t stay in the front. It always goes sideways or flips around, drives me nuts! Good to know that I’m not alone. Great review!

I haven’t seen anyone else mention it either! But someone did let me know the leather version has a snap to keep the pouch in place - I’m tempted to add my own velcro or something… Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks so much for watching 🤍

I love this bag. I have the black nylon. I was having the same issue with the pouch until I added some coins to it. Don’t have that problem anymore. Good luck!

Thank you so much for the tip! I put stuff in there but it's usually lighter (like a mask or hand sanitizer) so I will for sure try with something heavier like coins to see if it helps. Appreciate you letting me know what worked for you and you watching my video.

I got the Prada Saffiano leather 2005 edition and they have a small strap for the mini pouch for it to stay in place! Also the saffiano leather stores more things. I love it!

I appreciate this video. I ordered a pair of Prada Re-Nylon Prax 1 sneakers made of all nylon, except for the soles made of rubber. I was concerned about how nylon holds up with wear, especially in shoes. Prada is so expensive. Sneakers are at $1100 mark and its difficult to gauge what the wear will be like with expensive designer items.

About Prada Re-Edition 2005 Re-Nylon ... I love this chic, discreet & well-designed bag. 🤩 I call her Prada Cinderella ... because - like the character in the story - she's clean, decently dressed ... but modest. In addition, her posture is not firm (as in the saffiano leather version) ... and the leather label never fits properly. I also find the wide nylon strap disproportionately wide (relative to the size of the bag) ... as well as the mini purse for coins & cards. Which is kinda extra ... as if Prada had added it to the pack - to comfort the buyer that she was paying over $ 1,000 for a nylon bag. 😃 With them all, the owner of the bag looks like a loaded mannequin ... on which several leather goods exhibits are displayed ... due to lack of space. 😃 This Prada Cinderella ... like the future queen (in the story), is hardworking & serves 3 mistresses: Prada Group, replica makers & "dupe" makers. So, she deserves an up/grade. 💗 Last summer, I started to work on an up/grade of this bag - using a replica (quite decently made). The first thing I did ... & Cinderella get ... was to add the "crystal shoes." 🤩 And, because she serves 3 masters ... I gave her 3 pairs of Swarovski crystals shoes. 💗 Then, I removed the wide shoulder strap & put a long silver chain (120 cm) ... to which I attached a device (absolute novelty) for adjusting the length. I used the same type of chain to replace the "chunky" chain used by Prada ... to "rhyme" with the one used for the shoulder port. I strengthened her posture ... so now she's straight & arched - just like the saffiano version. I repositioned the leather label (which was sitting idle). I added a triangular Prada logo on the 2nd side as well: the logo is now on the outside - whether the bag is worn with the zipper puller on the front or back. Also, I changed the inner lining (too sober). It's fuchsia now. 💗 Finally, I made a dust bag for her (has a shoulder strap ... so, it can stay in the bag when it's used & be used as a shopping bag - if needed). Now she's ready for the royal ball. 🥳 P.S.: Check my IG for photos + comparison with the original design.

The bag I bought at eastlisa cost $185, which is of better quality than the one I bought at a friend's place for $600 before!

Hi girl ! Just so you know Prada addressed this issue I bought mine and the little pouch has a double closure in the strap so it does not move!

Hi! I don’t find it to be too bad - I mostly wear it with the chain strap and it’s never bothered me. I think that this could be impacted by the fabric you’re wearing (is it slippery like silk?) and the shape of your shoulders though! Thanks for watching and hope that’s helpful.

I just had the same thought about the little pouch as i wear it more often. I thought it's because i clipped it backwards or it's not weighted enough to stay straight. I don't think yours is defective unless we both have defective ones

Hey girl at least you have made your moneys worth girl! I noticed when i have wore it with just the chain, it slides off all the time. Which is why its in it’s dustbag but, i do want to start using it again. Are you planning on keeping it and Would you use or say this can be a everyday work bag?

Totally! Happy I still use it lots but clearly there are some general issues with the straps if you’re having some too. I don’t find the chain strap falls off my shoulder, but I do also carry it in the crook of my arm sometimes, so maybe that will work better for you? I hope you do start using it again, I hate when I have something nice and I’m not getting much use of it. I’m going to keep mine for sure, and I do wear it all the time with the chain strap in both causal and fancier outfits. I just don’t see myself using the longer strap that often because the way the pouch moves around bugs me so much. Depending on your work and how much you need to bring with you I think this could be an everyday bag for you! Appreciate you watching 🤍

I just bought this exact same bag today and they had the new version where the pouch has a snap button to make it stay in place like the leather ones. The SA told me not to wear this with dark jeans because I can get color transfer. Have you worn it with jeans? Also how about dark top like a black t shirt? Would dark fabric also cause color transfer? Have you treated it with some type of color guard? Thanks!

That’s so great that they don’t make them the same way anymore! How exciting that you got this new bag 🤍 I hope you love it. I have worn mine with jeans, but mostly with lighter ones. I haven’t noticed any transfer myself, but I did get one stain on it from tree sap. Can’t remember if I mentioned that in the video. Thank you so much for watching!

I still use it all the time and it’s held up really well! There’s a touch of wear and tear on the leather trim but no pilling. I just wash the nylon every once in awhile to keep it clean. Overall a super durable bag and would recommend the re-edition nylon for sure! Thanks for watching 🤍

The pin on the pouch came off on my bag, I was so disappointed.

I do not think it’s too trendy for someone 50+! I definitely don’t think age should dictate style either - I often share clothes and accessories with my mom who is in her early 60s 😉

I feel like Prada is aimed at people 35+ anyway. LV is becoming a bit of a trashy status symbol for young women now days.

why not just get a new strap replacement ??? Those purses are made of crap material anyway and it would customize it. Do people judge that much? It's a simple O ring if you want to keep mentioning the price.
