I successfully got a hit yesterday in a tournament doing the cut swing for the first time. It wasn't a bomb but it was low line drive up the middle just past the shortstop. Thank you guys for these videos!

I completely agree about using a tee. It completely messes me up. I will only hit off my tee if I'm testing balls or bats. But as far as trying to improve hitting, I think it actually hurts me in that instance.

Man, this guy is a trip. Way back when, like desert west Park days when me and my uncle used to be part of his team, this guy was awesome. Ive seen him use cheap bats hitting bombs. And when s$it got real heated he'd play s.s close to the pitcher with no glove.

I've been practicing the cut swing and really like it a lot. I start with my hands about chest high then raise them up somewhat. I feel like I chop at the ball sometimes. I guess too much of a downward swing plane. Any suggestions to be more consistent besides BP?

It's so strange to me that the higher you go in softball, the hotter the bats and balls get. I know they CAN, but I would much rather see them do this with ASA/USA bats under legal compression with .52/300 balls. I'm not even close to a conference player (C/D), and hit ropes with those bats and balls. Just doesn't make sense to me. Awesome content though guys!
