II Corinthians 10:4-5 “ For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” Another Version says “4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” The enemies attacks our minds, thru imaginations and thoughts. “Casting down imaginations” When thoughts enters your mind, luring you into an emotional stronghold of worry, doubt, anger, hate or shame, you have two choices. You can reject the thought, or you can adopt it and make it your own. By rejecting it, you tear down stronghold and put an end to the false way of thinking.

Help me understand. I'm new, I'd say I'm a robust believer and fairly astute study of the bible. Tell me why as a Christian I need to defend Israel. This seems like an American centric thing that isn't totally biblically necessary

Personally I don’t defend either side, both are riddled with corruption and ungodliness. I pray for the innocent victims on both sides. It’s a terrible situation that as a Christian I can’t take sides on.

My Pastor said its the Isreal of the BIBLE that we support ... Not the current Israeli government . I keep Praying for discernment during this time of chaos .
