This man is one of the best scholars of present time, he talks with lots of sense, intellect and wisdom. I don't think any of our traditional scholar or "moulana" could ever reach to his religious understandings and acumen. May Allah Almighty bless him and let us take true guidance from his lectures. I wish people could come out of their typical rituals thoughts in which they keep locked in.

bhai agr bura na lge to ek bat kahunga...wese ma dislikes walun se nahi hun leki yeh woh log dislike kar rhe hen jo Ghamidi ko pehle se jante hen. SOME IMPORTANT PRINCIPLES FOR UNDERSTANDING ISLAM (derived from Jawed Ahmed Ghamidi and Hasan Ilyas Videos) 1)Religions, Prophets and Holy Books are for the purpose of Purification of people in terms of their body, their food and their morality of interactions with other people. It is not for the purpose of making someone Doctor, Engineer or Lawyer. 2)There are two primary sources of Islam. Quran and Sunnah. Quran is a Book of God. Sunna is Directions of God in the Shape of Actions. Hadith is a secondary source and has to be understood in the light of Quran and Sunnah. 3)Quran and Sunnah transfer to people through Ijmah and Tawatur. Hadith Transfer to people through Akhbar e Ahad. There are principles for understanding these. 4) Established principle of Knowledge or Intellect is never mentioned in book it is always predefined and obvious. 5)The Directions of God has to be understood in relation to its Context, Occassion and Purpose. Since, meaning varies due to context, occasions and purpose. Also, sometimes certain directions of God are applicable on certain people. 6)Quran is divided in Mutashabihaat and Muhakimat. Donot try to go in depth of Mutashabihaat because we don't have any medium or capacity to understand fully the meaning of these things. 7)Muhakimmat is defined in the ordinary sense of Arabic. No meaning should be associated with it which is not used in ordinary sense in the Arabic. The purpose of Muhakimat is to comply with it and no ambiguities can be afforded in it. 8)Not all Directions of Quran is forever. There are abrogated verses as well. 9) There are certain directions of God Sad e Zariya which is for the purpose of stopping people from Sin. These directions can be deviated if not obeying them cannot become the reason of any sin due to change in circumstances. 10)A Direction of the God is sometimes a principle which need to be derived by going into the root of the direction. So you need to extend the applicability of that directions. 11) A Language comprises of Words, Sentence Structure or Arrangement of Words and the Sequence of Sentences. Translation of language cannot translate fully the way a sentence is conveyed originally. Also, putting translated words below the original words in a translation is not a good approach for translation, since, it very often disturb the original meaning and way of conveying the message. 12)Quran only discusses things which needs clarification. It does not discusses things which is obvious for mankind. Otherwise, this book will be in many volumes. 13)Magnitude of Sins and Virtues are dependent on Situation when it is occurred and the ability of the doer. 14) For occurring of a Sin and Virtue it is prerequisite that a moral test is there. 15)Everyone will only get virtue and sin against his own moral tests or duties which religion has placed upon him. Nobody can get virtue or sin of others.

دنیا کی زندگی میں انسان کی انسانیت کو باقی رکھنے کے لیے جو اخلاقی تقاضے مطلوب ہیں وہ تقاضے مشاہدے کے طور پر دنیا میں موجود ہیں،جن کا کسی بھی انسان کے لیے انکار کرنا ناممکن ہے کہ دنیا ان تقاضوں کے بغیر لمحے بھر کے لیے بھی نہیں باقی رہ سکتی وہ انسانی فطرت ہے جو ہر انسان کے اندر قدرتی طور پر موجود ہے،جس کا ذکر اہل عہد الست میں موجود ہے،دین کا یہ نصف حصہ دنیا کے تمام انسانوں میں موجود ہے،خواہ وہ اللہ کو مانتا ہوں یا نہ مانتا ہو آخرت پر یقین ہو کہ نہ ہو پیغمبروں کو تسلیم کرتا ہو کہ نہ کرتا ہو دین کے اسی نصف حصہ کی تکمیل کے لئے اور اسی کو جلا بخشنے کے لیے کائنات میں پیغمبروں کو بھیجا گیا دنیا میں انسان کی انسانیت اسی پر باقی ہے ورنہ انسان جانور ہو جائے گا انسانوں کی پیدائش سے پہلے دنیا میں جانورھی موجود تھے،یہی اخلاقی قدر ہیں جو انسان کو حیوان سے جدا کرتی ہے،

Today ,there is no reader of Quran and tafsir available generally.only some groups are available who are secterians ,ruin the Deen of Islam .only some intellectual and individuals show their channels and earn money.i don't know they are making money or preaching Islam

Javed Ghamdi could not answer the introductory question properly. The interviewer tried a number of ways to question that but JG kept on going tangent. Usually he is good but this time he just couldn’t answer it.

Very prudent logical explanation... Pak one tall religious figure strongly advocates immediate killing of person who does not subscribe Mulla interpretation of religion...

In answer to question of religious apathy, Javed Ghamdi has rightly pointed out that people & their interpretations are the main issue. However, his main target of criticism is other religions. He's underplayed the serious misinterpretations that exist within Islam & a massive blind following of tradition. Unfortunately, Ghamdi also sits within that traditions that places great faith in "ulemas" who are the upholders of a complicated religious structure that is far from the straightforward Qur'anic message. The Qur'an was not sent as a guidance to ulemas but to ordinary people directly. No one is encouraging people to read & obtain guidance directly. It's all about control!
