Thrift hauls for witchery are the best! Almost everything I use is second hand, vintage, previously loved items and I love them all. Besides the budget, I work with Gaia, and not adding to the things damaging Her is very important to me. And now I'm going for a walk around the neighborhood, as we just had a major storm come through so there are pine cones, branches, etc literally everywhere 😆

Thank you so much! This is the first witch related content I’ve found that really resonates with me. I get tired of the crystals (of unknown origin) and Amazon supplies. Everything we need is available all around us. Intention is much more important than anything else.

This is good! I usually take old keys or my missing earring and tie yarn. That's my pendulums lol

I'm just starting out and bought a book that was so complicated and overwhelming and mae me feel less than. Your wonderful videos have given me the confidence to say My craft l, My way. Thankyou! Many blessings 🙏💖

I luv that Bex's videos make things easy. For beginners, I highly recommend 2 books by Melissa Cynova: Kitchen Table Witchcraft and Kitchen Table Tarot. For me, although I am not a beginner, they have really helped un-complicate things.

If complicated books are overwhelming ,try to get to the woods or any nature and just breath it in and look around.You have everything you need. Witches have been practicing for centuries,long before Dollar stores and chemically dyed "essential" crystals!Use your own witchy instincts and soon you will find simple is beautiful blessed one.

I'm also a budget witch. I found some beautiful things in nature.. mother nature gives everything 🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿

I aways wore long nails they naturally just grow fast. But I got divorced after a 30 yr marriage and decided to change my profession at the same time. I became a clinical massage therapist. After 13 yrs of absolutely no nails I literally can't function if I let them grow past my finger tips . Lol. Your nails are lovely. Great video as usual. I adore you. Blessings!!

I love videos like this! I also think there are so many everyday items in our house that we can use for witchcraft, or that we naturally develop a connection with over time- pens, a favourite coffee mug or spoon, jam jars, jewelry etc. I don't like a lot of 'stuff' or knick-knacks so i tend to stick with more practical items that I already have- often don't have most of the stuff I need for baking but improvising is half of the fun! 😁

I always save scraps of fabric from sewing and ribbons and whatnot from packaging, and whenever I need ribbon or string, I have it ready to go. I have some beautiful braids made from these things as well as a string of meditation beads (with beads from a broken bracelet) and slip-knot, herb-drying strings (that can be reused because of the slip knot). I make herb, et al, sachets from fabric scraps, too.

I also save ribbons and strings from packages! String is just so handy to have around from the kitchen to the garden and just all that life throws at you when you’re a mom.

I live in east Texas and my dog and I love going outside. I recently made my first rune set recently ! I can't wait for my first samhain. I have been saving up fallen down trees and wood for my bonfire. 😁

I completely agree that thrifted items are "pre-loved!" I often meditate on the history of a handmade (or just old and rusty) thing.

Nice! I'm always on the hunt for vintage items. I find the best stuff at estate sales. I always acknowledge and thank the previous owners for allowing me in there place. We all work hard for what we have on Earth. Somehow they seem to nudge me to the coolest items. One time I picked up this candle on the top shelf of a closet that seemed to be overlooked. A coin of a Greek God rolled off and landed on my head. It was a silver paperweight that looked like an oversized coin. Super cool. Thanks for sharing your haul. I'm happy you found those awesome items. You are very crafty. Thanks for mentioning we don't need any items because it's true. It's nice to have though. Brings added joy and energy. It's like the item is sponge absorbing our own energy. Peace be with you darling 💚💚💚

i like the video you have seen my videos almost everything is either free through marketplace or bought at flea markets . second hand tells a story and makes my heart happy I am also guilty of the action especially for my children and candles lovely video again

The more the merrier indeed! I just don't like the side-effects that come with it - like big non-witchcraft related brands using this to their advantage and producing a ton of crap, telling people they need it in order to practice witchcraft 😄 so sorry to hear about your insomnia! that is the worst 🥴 but hopefully my constant blabbering and maybe a little sleep potion will send you off to dream land hihi 💖
