Practice: Attending to Somatic Symptoms in 3 Helpful Ways

I offer individual consultation and treatment sessions, as well as weekly group sessions for those suffering from chronic or persistent somatic symptoms in which they have not found solutions from traditional medicine or other types of treatments. You can learn more and sign up for sessions at:
www.thepainpt.com/
This video is to help you attend to somatic symptoms in three helpful ways. The three ways I go over today are not your typical ways of dealing with uncomfortable or painful somatic symptoms. But they can be especially helpful to change the brain and nervous system, especially when the brain and nervous system is the driving cause to your symptoms.

    Thanks Jim. I'm on the mend now, thanks to you. But I still benefit greatly from listening to your videos, and reexamining my feelings and "BS".

    Do ur best to shift your perception of this from negative to neutral or even positive. Use some of the other strategies I mention here as well

    If my main symptom is restlessness/tension and thus there is an inability to relax, how should I approach this? Thanks for your great work;
