Excellent video, Lewis. I live about 50 metres from the beach here in Portugal so I am constantly filming the ocean and these tips were extremely useful.

Great tips, during lockdown we've been rediscovering this area too and vlogging some walks along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast. One thing about filming around the Welsh Coast is the strong wind and trying to keep that camera steady. Do you have any tips about filming in the UK during the winter months on the rare days when the sun is out. The sun is always low in the sky and things are either super bright or really dark.

Hey, funny enough, in this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/f3xntsN8h5DAlaw.html&ab_channel=UglyMcGregor, from 30-50, the wind was so strong that I had to hold down the camera. This was a rigged up Ursa Mini 4.6k too which is quite heavy as is. Regarding your Q, I'd recommend heading to the coastline around 2-4pm to film, and get your shots in within that last hour of light. The light is always soft and the colours are beautiful.
