Ben, my 28 year old daughter has an old spirit and soul too. She loves the music of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Her favorite show is Columbo with Peter Faulk. If you haven’t, watch them. No nudity or swearing; just great murder mystery. Stay safe!😁😁

I read where Andy was laughing for real in this scene. He tried to hide his mouth - which directors usually don't like - - but they kept the scene as is. Great comedy. Wonderful show. Wish we could see something close to this on TV today.

One of my favorites is when Barney is sleeping under the covers, which are tucked into one side of the bed, so Andy pulls the other side down, lifts the bed sligthly, and slides the sheet under the bed legs, locking Barney in on both sides of the sheets. He then goes to the door to wake Barney up, who spends about a minute or so trying to kick and feel his way out of the bed sheets.

When this show first aired, Andy was the laugh generator. But, when he realized that Don was getting all of the laughs, he graciously took the part of the straight man and Barney became the breakout character. When Knott's career took him into movies, Andy would drive him to the movie set after they were done filming an episode.

One of my favourite shows. It seems funny how Andy walked across the room but when they show a front view of him, he seems so close to the window!

Andy once said, When Barney was on a roll, Andy would sit back and let him go. You could see Andy starting to laugh in the back ground.

Great show, unfortunately I have seen every episode at least three dozen times. Such a shame that programming now is so damn bad. One more dumbass reality show and I think I'll puke.

If Andy had never mentioned on wanting to end the series by the 5th season, Don Knotts would have stayed on throughout the 8th season, but thought that the show was gonna end, he didn't resigned his contract and end up pursuing in making movies which every single of his movies was a big smash . But as we all knew it, he had came back to the show as a guest from time to time and some episodes, he even stayed on as the guest for 3 Episodes in a row, give or take. If he had stayed on through its 8 seasons, I believe when the show went to color, even the color episodes would have been nearly as good as the black & white.

What Andy should have done with his shoes was stuff paper in the toe portion and watch him fight to get them on. We used to do that where I worked at.

it's funny how when they air this episode now that they'll often remove a little bit of barney's dialogue.
