We have been hearing this from various gurus and shcolars -- look within, the Divine is in you. However, does the repeated emphasis on knowing the Atman within to start with, and then recognizing the same Atman in all creation, may have robbed the Hindu of learning to recognize those who are obviously hostile to his Dharma. When I am told by my shastra and my teacher to treat everyone as an embodiment of the Divine, and the Muslim jehadi has a declared religious policy of calling me a kaffir, and then grabbing my land, my property and my women by force and finishing me off, isn't my spiritual outlook one-sided and, actually suicidal ??
