Asking a cop to work with you is not the best advice. First, it empowers the police in the wrong way. Police who participate in revenue collection via traffic violations tends to promote more of the same. The cops get off on this power trip. As it would seem, traffic tickets appear most insurmountable for the average person. As well, you need to mount a defense that appears the same to the police and prosecutor by way of a motion for discovery. Ask for training records if the cop used a radar or Lidar device. Ask for calibration records. Ask for data as to when the calibration device was last checked and calibrated. If the cop paced you, ask for the exact tire size and the last time the speedometer was calibrated and the associated paperwork that accompanied the calibration process. Be NICE and dress appropriately but please don’t let the court system intimidate you. Your tax dollars pay for all this and as well, the court system should be able to offer an account of the aforementioned and much much more

Is it possible if the court or judge ask for you to pay. could someone use a 1099 form or draft a negotiable instrument?

Ever handled a unknowingly driving through a funeral procession? I left a parts store the funeral before or after my visit was never in my view. I left the parts store, stopped at red light, after 30 seconds turns green I check left, vehicle drives through,check right yet a other, as I rechecked my left another drives through for them a red light I proceed across the highway with a green light, next thing I know after fully crossing the intersection a city cop lights on stops me. Nothing ever indicated a funeral,the escort police suv and hurst were never in sight, at any point and time. I the pre trial plead not guilty

Very good video but I have questions…I was driving the other day out of the the cop was behind and pulled me over then cop asked how did I go I said I don’t know then he told me that I went 127km on a 70km zone then I said really he then got all my information and went to his cruiser then he gave me everything back and he said to me …I will reduced to 100+ my questions is if he admitted that he caught me on a laser why didn’t he show me and be liniment on me but he didn’t catch me on the spot only after 6km from where his laser trapped is … pls any idea thanks

I received the seat belt ticket at exit 37 on I20 just before Atlanta. Why do we even have seatbelt tickets? What do I have to tell them to get to dismiss it, And if you know how to get a law overturned I would like to start that here with this one.

I was led to believe that statutes, codes, ordnance's only apply to employees of the the Corporation of (your state). If it is a Trust Action against the fictitious entity, (your name in all caps), you being the beneficiary you can appoint the judge-prosecutor a Trustee in the Trust Action. Where is the living, breathing human able to stand up and swear an oath, under penalty of perjury, and willing to testify in court and be cross examined, that they have a valid claim against you. Without a claim by a living person there is no case and the judge has no choice but to dismiss and remove from the record. Is that not the law?

lol no Asking Officer to reduce the charge is not the same as admitting guilt.

I have court today for a speeding ticket which I don’t believe but don’t have proof and it’s my first time so I’m pretty nervous. I woke up very early today worrying the worst.

What happened at the court

The best very best defense is a motion for discovery. The cop and prosecutor will not, 9 times out of 10 be able to fulfill your demand within 30 days

@Bart Simpson, How do I request a Motion for Discovery for a "unlawful use of a wireless device" citation? How can I request this before my court date in less than 30 days? Ticket issued: Friday June 9, 2023 Court date: Tues. July 11, 2023 Help, please? Thank you!

My cop was very cool and respectful to me during my traffic stop. He got me gojng 65 in a 45. he said he usually doesent stop someone going 10 over and is lenient in 15 over but he won’t waiver if going 20 over. I’m doubtful talking to him would help but I may just try because he seemed pretty cool. If I was drop dead gorgeous female I’d feel more confident but I actually look like a cop myself, bald , bulky and everyone thinks I’m a damned cop….I just have that look. Not sure how this will play out. I’ll post an update as my court date is in two days.

Update?

Never plea. Never geeky a lawyer . Just ask to see the judges license and ask for a formal jury trial. He will dismiss it ASAP.
