Sir 1. Kindly advise seed to seed distance or number of seed per arce for rice, corn, sugarcane. What is the disadvantage if planted in high density? 2. Is it better to use drip irrigation on beds than filling water in trenches? Thank you

As usual very informative and very motivating too, Sir the most difficult crops to grow on raised beds are the ones where we have to transfer seedlings,rice is one of them, Sir can we have DSR (Direct seeding of Rice) on beds and spread mulch after seeding??coz it will only take 15 More days to mature the crop,as you said transplant seedlings of 15 Days....

When we provide more water like rice to other crops it dies.if rice is a crop of less water then also it grows even if we drown it why??

Aquatic animals have adapted to living on drylands in response to changing conditions. Similarly, rice and some other plants have adapted to surviving in water-inundated conditions, although this is not their ideal environment. They perform better when grown in moist soil rather than saturated soil.

سر عرض ہے کہ ہمارے یہاں زمینوں میں سالٹ بہت زیادہ ہیں ۔ اگر ریزڈ بیڈ پر چاول کاشت ہوگا تو ایواپوریشن کی وجہ سے بہت زیادہ سالٹ بیڈ پر چڑھ جائینگے اس وجہ سے پودا جل جانے کا خدشہ ہے ۔ اس کیلئے کیا کریں؟ پچھلے سال چاول کی کاشت کے وقت پانی کی پی پی ایم لیول 1000 سے لیکر 2500 تک تھی
