Mam if we ligate uterine and ovarian artery , then blood suppy of uterus secess, isliye necrosis ho sakta hai na (ishcemic condition) develope hogi

I don’t understand why we have to give oxytocin when placenta is separated while doing uterine massage …. We have to give oxytocin before the massage right.¿
