Welcome back to Epic Flight Academy's Private Pilot Ground School! This video covers the air induction systems of the aircraft.
This course is taught by Epic Flight Academy's own Mike Thompson. Mike Thompson is the author of "Telling Is Not Teaching", which promotes the idea that the “new school” of teaching that embraces electronic technology cannot sacrifice the “old school” of human relationships because the human brain stills learns in largely the same way that it has for millennia.

I like that you talk more slowly to allow us to process what you are saying in real time 🔥
You teaches better than our instructor or captain 😅, that’s why I will subscribe ❤️

You are most welcome!
Your teaching style is amazing! Question: Why not just leave carb heat on all the time?

here's what i think why prolong engine life hot air is less dense making fuel mix richer less dense air means less altitude to fly (not sure about that)

@@Chizzzt not to mention, carb heat air is unfiltered. it will eventually damage the engine cylinders if you always keep it on. especially on the ground!
